I purchased the canopy. I AM NOT into 2 hours peeling the paper off that is stuck between the inside and the out. IT feels like cheap vinyl. i can not add how it looks up because I am not done peeling the paper off. Ready to send it back and move on...

    • 10x20 Canopy Replacement Cover Has a Nice Look But Not for Rainy Day
Size: 10' x 20' Color: White
We got the white one as it was the color that would best match our wood trim in the back. We were worried that it would be too white based on the product image. However, when we received it, it was actually an oft-white that is pleasant to look at. We got it as a replacement cover for our 10x20 canopy. When putting it on, the cover has a thin paper layer. Do not remove the paper. Instead, place your new cover onto your canopy frame first. Then you can tear out the paper. Otherwise, any dust or dirt will get onto your new pristine cover as you drag it on the ground when you first start fitting the cover to the frame. The paper gives temporary protection while the new cover is being placed on its frame. Previously, our old cover did not have the trim that goes on the legs of the canopy. This cover has, and it does make a difference on how the canopy looks. We think it looks nicer with this side trim and overhang. The aluminum canopy legs and railings are hidden giving a more pleasant sight. One thing we were surprised with is that there are no holes for the ball bungees to attach to for the front and back. There are only attachment holes are on the long sides. So far, that has not shown to be a problem. However, the biggest issue is that the canopy will not work in the rain. The rain water will collect from both long sides of the canopy as the cover cloth will dip under the weight of the water. The prior cover was shorter so there were plenty of gap between the side support pole and the holes where the bungee balls would be placed. That was where the rain water ran off. With this new replacement cover, there is no gap. The cloth is longer and hangs over the side railings. So while this presents a nice look, in the rain, the water does not run off but forms a dip. As the rain continues, more water accumulate causing an even bigger dip along the side. This means that in a regular or heavy rain, gallons of water is hanging in the air held by the thin canopy cover. Eventually, that water will break through leading to a deluge onto guests and furniture underneath the canopy. To prevent that, you would have to manually force the water off the canopy about every 10-15 minutes. This is a fatal flaw. The canopy looks nice and will work on days with good weather. I am very pleased with this canopy by GOTRUTH. Nicely manufactured and appearing as if it will hold up very, very well to the outdoor elements this 10x20 foot canopy cover is perfect for my needs. I have a 10x20 pole framed, canopy in my driveway to protect my vehicle from the intense sun UV rays here in the desert southwest which damages vehicle paint. My current canopy is old and battered by the wind and exposure to the sun and this thick, durable canopy cover is the perfect replacement. The canopy has grommets, ties and clips to secure the canopy to your frame. A design feature I appreciate is how the canopy extends to cover the four corner legs of your frame. Believe it or not I ordered this for our deck to keep the weather off ! With our kitchen roof (1 story ) I knew that this replacement canopy cover would fit perfectly in the space of our 12 ft by 24 ft area I needed ! This arrived today and I immediately had it set up to cover the whole area plus the door into the pantry ! Fits great ! Looks like it was made for the area !
