Cons: Wheel lights burnt out after a week of use and it was not exposed to any water, doesn't fold for storage, far heavier than expected, has weird two-button configuration on flat part of scooter so if you have larger feet it's hard to operate. Got as a birthday gift and the kid is happy, although the light-up feature failed pretty quickly. The seller was quick to reach out and made it right which I was very impressed with. This scooter is really cool. Our daughter loves it, as do her friends! Great quality (it was a Christmas gift and is still running great now in March). Note: Be sure to use your Allen wrench to tighten the handle bar to the base!

UPDATED review: The company reached to us and sent us a replacement scooter free of charge. Kids like it and it is very easy to use. OLD review: The front part of the scooter came with the holes in the wrong place so the logo, etc is facing backwards. The base of the scooter came with scratches. The electric scooter was a gift for my son. It did not work what's so ever. I took the item back for a refund through ups and its been over 2 weeks that I did that and I still have not received my refund.

We purchased a Gotrax hover fly for Christmas. It was defective. It shook and jittered. Threw my son off and hurt him. We called and went through the troubleshooting. Decided to return. After filling out the return section on their website we were sent more trouble shooting instructions. Filled out return info again. No response for days! Then started calling. One day a message said phone system was down. Took several days to finally get another live body and get questions answered. We had to pay 40 dollars at OUR expense to return it. Gotrax would not cover shipping to return a faulty product. So we paid 40 bucks to have our son hurt by his hoverboard and sorely disappointed that his Christmas present that he started asking for in September didn’t work while his brother and sister zipped around on their perfectly working hoverboards that are a different brand. We replaced the Gotrax with a different brand which works perfectly. Just buyer beware that customer service is severely lacking. We probably would have replaced his with another Gotrax had they taken care of us appropriately. Shouldn’t have to pay out of pocket to return a product that didnt work. That was their fault, not ours. Their policy does say customer pays return shipping but for a product that didn’t work? Wrong in my opinion. ... show more

Bought 2 of these the first to arrive was defective and we made a warranty claim which too longer than expected but they did send a new one. The replacement has a defective battery and won’t charge now less than 2 months after the first arrived. Customer service won’t respond to multiple follow ups. The second/other board we bought is squeaky and has something loose inside that rattles around, haven’t even tried to make a claim on that. So overall we have had 3 of these in a 3 month period and all are defective. ... show more
