I love that it has crotch hooks and is mesh, so it breathes. However, the spot without the double-layer "crisscross" over the mid-belly area, causes the more compressed areas to stick out there more. I don't feel the design is the best. The fabric breathes well. That is the best thing about this garment. Otherwise, if you have a short torso like me and are looking for a true waist trainer, this is not the product for you. I'm 5'4", 145 lbs with a large chest and small hips and order a Medium. While everything fit nice above my navel, below was another story. Garment was too long in the crotch and too big around my hips. I contemplated getting the small but worried it would still not be tight enough in my straddle and hip area. My OG shaprewear is wearing which compelled me to order a new one. I searched for so long for the one I needed! ✅ no straps with hooks because they slip and snap ✅ no zippers because bunching and discomfort ✅ shapewear with straps to avoid possible rolling down or up ✅ more than two (it has 3 hooks with multiple rows of hooks) hooks around the crotch because god clearly has favorites and I’m not one of them. I bought a large wanting snug, but I should have bought an XL which is my go to size for anything. But I still don’t regret. It holds everything I need in. No back tolls because of the support all the way to the shoulders. No shoulder indentations because they have width. No crotch bunching because of the widths. No wedgies because of the stretch in the behind yet DURABLE FABRIC I haven’t had a single stretch tear noise putting this on and taking it off in the week I’ve work this EVERYDAY for work and I do a lot of moving at work.
