I swim every day, and I am need to start running drills that help with endurance and kicks. I purchased this slightly used, and I agree - it looks almost brand new. It really doesn't matter since it's going to spend time in the water. As an adult, I like the size of this kick-board versus the kid sized ones that the athletic center provides - which is extremely hard to manage; the smaller size is useless for adults. If I hold the board at the very top (grooves), it covers the length of my Lower arm, and extends a little - will help focus on kicks and breathing. What I also like is the three different positions (grooves/handles) that you can hold this in - not something you see with other kickboards. ... show more

As a swimmer for so many years I know what I need when I talk about swimming. This kickboard is a Great one for swimming lessons. I bought (2) the big ones for my kids (5y & 9y) and works great for them. Very nice for few different drills. 100% recommended.

I have injuries that I am trying to heal from in the pool I can kick, and paddle for as long as my lungs and my legs can tolerate I have issues with my scapula too, so the versatility that I need to do all kinds of upper and lower body exercise is very good.
