Description

The GoSports 10 ft x 7 ft golf net was designed by golfers, for golfers to provide a must-have practice tool. For a variety of reasons, we can't always make it out to the range to work on our game, so unless you are Tiger Woods and have a course in your backyard, you need this product! That's because the hitting net allows golfers to practice full shots with real golf balls for the most realistic practice experience. The net is also very popular for use with launch monitors to really take your practice to the next level. The net can be used indoors or outdoors as long as you have a large enough space to safely swing a club.

  • Easy up & easy down…with quality
Style: Standard 10’x7’ Golf Net
I bought this golf driving net to replace a different brand I bought 3 months ago. The other brand was of similar size, but semi-circle in shape. The other net required me to assemble a 10ft + fiberglass pole that was divided into multiple 12-14” sections and connected with elastic bands…and thread this long pole thru the perimeter of the semi-circular net. Then, I connected the pole/net assembly to a triangular base that consisted of 9 pieces of metal tubing. Finally, I staked the old net in place, and in 15-20min I was in business. The old net’s internal poles started to crack and it didn’t hold its shape after 3 months of use and about 400-500 shots. After each range session, it took about 10-15 min to disable and put back in the bag. About 30 min of my time was spent assembling and disassembling the old net. (The brand of the old net was similar to the name of an ancient astronomer) Now for the new GoSports net… The GoSports net is 100 times better. - it goes together in about 5 minutes - the base consists of 5 steel tubes that are snapped together and covered with, what seems to be, a durable powder coating. 5 pieces of tubing are much sturdier than 9. - the 2 vertical end poles are much thicker and each only consists of 2 pieces. The end poles are 2-3 times thicker than the multiple piece sectioned frame of the old net. - The net attaches to the frame/pole assembly in no time. - this new net anchors to the ground very easily. - I didn’t use the enclosed target that came with the new net. I actually used the larger target that came with my old net (the only part of the old net that was of high quality) - the GoSports net disassembles as quickly as it goes together. - the GoSports net DOES fit in its zipper bag. Those who say that it doesn’t don’t know how to pack anything away. So far, the GoSports net has seen 200+ shots and there has been no wear on the net. It probably helps having the 2’ x 3’ hanging target from my old net hanging from the GoSports netting. Although, the GoSports netting does look very robust. Very high quality. The old net I had took 30min out of my practice time to set it up then put it away - the GoSports net takes me less than 10min total time to set up and take down. That’s 20 more minutes to practice. 1200-1300 balls later… The GoSports net is still going strong. No rips in the netting and no cracking in the fiberglass poles. The GoSports net is still performing like new!! I have my setup time down to under 3 min and my disassembly time is around 3-4 minutes (takes a bit longer to fold the net and pack everything in the bag. The bag is still holding up with zipper intact after 6 weeks of setting it up and taking it down. No issues. 15,000-20,000 shots later (about 2 yrs of use, approx 25 days per month, approx 75 shots per day, 5-6 months each year)… -the net is still holding up strong. No tears in the net (105-110mph ball speed with 7 iron & 135-140mph ball speed with driver — I am not a long hitter). I do still have the 2ft X 3ft target hanging to help absorb some energy from the ball. No major rust on any of the metal tubing sections & the welds at the corners are still holding up. The Velcro on the sides of the net is a little less grippy, but still holts the net to the side support poles. No rips or tears in the bag yet and the zipper is still holding up fine. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 So far, after 2 yrs, the net has been a great value. Now on to a 3rd season. 😀 ... show more

  • Works for disc golf, too!
Style: Standard 7’x7’ Golf Net
Obviously, I can't judge durability since it arrived just today but it definitely appears sturdy and well-made. Even with reading the instructions carefully at each step, it only took 15 minutes to assemble and it will certainly take less in future, now that I know where the pieces go. I set it up in my basement (where it's in the way of everything) and threw a few drivers (very streamlined discs) at it, increasing my force each time to check for penetration and/or rebound. Each disc simply dropped with no evidence of damage to the net. Unsurprising because this exact product was recommended by other disc golfers who have one. It's going to be very useful for working on my footwork and throwing technique. Normally, I'll back a car out of the garage and throw there, at least until the rain stops in April. My only caution, if you're going to be setting up inside, is that just before you attach the net you're working with something that is about 20 feet (6 meters) wide, and that's for the 7' x 7' size. ... show more

  • Incredible Buy!
Style: Standard 7’x7’ Golf Net
I received my GoSports golf hitting net, the GoSports net extender, and the GoSports shank net a few days ago. As soon as I received all the items, I set it up and started hitting golf balls into the net. I’m so happy I got the shank net because I’m just relearning golf and lo and behold I hit a few errant balls. As a word of warning, if you aren’t confident in your swing I suggest you take your swings toward the wider end of the shank net to better ensure you keep the balls in your own “driving range”. This is a great buy for the following reasons: 1) extremely easy setup, 2) all the pieces look like they are extremely well made (but only time will tell if this is true), and 3) the 7’ x 7’ compact size fit easily into the small space that I had. I only hit about 50 balls into the net but I can tell you the net extender is a welcome add. The netting looks thicker than the standard GoSports net and it does a tremendous job stopping the golf ball. As a result I feel a lot more confident about increasing my ball speed hopefully in the near future. Way to go GoSports for having such a great product. ... show more

  • There is no "ball return" feature.
Style: Standard 10’x7’ Golf Net
Set-up is pretty easy, probably takes about 5 minutes. Net is fine so far (though I've mostly used foam balls so far). It is big, so pay attention to the size you order if you are going to use it in a garage or indoors. The description says it has a "convenient ball return, no more chasing balls" -- that's a complete fabrication. If you are using this on concrete, both foam and regular balls will bounce and roll all over the place unless you put towels or a blanket at the bottom inside the net to prevent bouncing. You WILL be chasing balls everywhere. (Notice that the videos stop before you can see what the ball does after it is stopped by the net.) I do wonder how much good this is other than allowing you to practice swinging the club and making solid contact with the ball. You obviously can't see the flight of the ball, though I suppose seeing the ball hit the middle of the net is a decent rough guide; however, you will have no idea if you are slicing the ball since that happens well after the ball is in the air. I think the best practice use is to help you zero in on hitting the ball flush with the club rather than hitting before the ball or topping the ball. I it is definitely worth the price because it will quickly pay for itself in what would otherwise be driving range fees. ... show more

  • Great Product
Style: Standard 7’x7’ Golf Net
I set this up in our shop for throwing disc golf drivers in the winter. It was easy to set up, break down, and does not topple over when launching discs. Large 7' x 7' netting with minimal woven areas does not allow discs to travel through. It's made of quality materials. I would definitely recommend for disc golf users. ... show more
