Gorilla Tape can be removed, but with some difficulty and it may leave some residue. To remove any excess residue, we recommend using the tape itself as a blotter. I was hesitant to purchase this Gorilla tape, but took the plunge and bought it anyway. trying to get the tape apart is somewhat difficult, but if it came off easy, then where is the sticking power. None of my cats will use a cat scratching post. Instead, they prefer cardboard boxes. However, 2 of my cats still like to sharpen their claws on anything vertical including the solid wood posts on the banister, and on the paneling on the other side of the kitchen sink. So I cut out large rectangles of heavy cardboard, and taped the cardboard on the walls where they scratch. The first time I used the tape I wrote the date on the tape. I was pleasantly surprised, the tape stood up. I didn't replace the cardboard for 2 months, and the tape held perfectly. I also used it on the inside bottom aluminum porch, which is ancient., The tape holds the clear shower curtains that I use to keep out the snow and wind. The tape has been in place since October and it's now the middle of February and it is still in place. I would highly recommend this product to everyone.. ... show more

This tape works as advertised. Only issue is tape is really super sticky and thick. It can take some effort to unwrap from the roll. It can be torn by hand, but you need to be quick, strong and deliberate when doing so. Have some scissors handy just in case. Found it sticks to rough siding very well, and stays in place even after being in both rain and sun. Heavy-duty product for sure. Recommended. ... show more

This roll was much bigger than I anticipated. It was very thick and strong. I can tear cleanly and easily, despite how strong it is. I used this to tape up a box of stuff and I am extremely impressed with this tape. The adhesive is nice and sticky too. I have never used anything quite like this. For the money, I am very pleased. Good tape is not easy to find. I would much rather buy this, than the clear tape from now on. This is good stuff! I approve! ... show more
