Pros: Extremely easy to clean, they keep their color, the rubber backing holds them in place, there's no shedding or unraveling even after months of use. Also, my pets love them. If your animals follow you into the bathroom and they need a place to sit, this will do the trick. Cons: They stay damp for a long time if they get very much water on them. If they're in a position where they're going to get really wet, you might have to throw them in the dryer or wash them more often than the instructions suggest. They're pretty soft, but if you're going to be standing on them for a long time, the fibers start feeling kind of knobby and uncomfortable. If you're looking for a mat to stand on while you get ready in the morning, I'd choose something with a more uniform consistency. I got two of these mats six months ago. One is dark blue, and the other is white and pink. I attached a photo (taken today) of the white and pink striped one, because it was the one I was most nervous about. It's in a lower traffic bathroom, but it still gets pretty dirty after a while.The dark blue one is in the higher-traffic hall bathroom, and it still looks exactly like the product picture. I run them through a cold water wash and a low-temperature tumble dry every two or three weeks and they look brand new. Buying this non-slip bathroom rug was one of the smartest things I've done to prepare for knee surgery in March. It's cozy, soft, and completely non-slip. A few reviewers have disputed the non-slip part. But the manufacturer has gone to great pains on the Amazon product listing and on a printed enclosure to state: the rug must be placed on a clean, dry floor.     • Material is Not Soft to the Feet and Too Thin

The material feel is not soft and feels too rough when I stepped on it, plus the chenille is too thin and I can see the bottom of the mat easily where there is no chenille. Very disappointed at the quality and touch as I thought Gorilla Grip is a good brand for quality stuff due to the price is slightly more expensive than other brands with similar products. I wish the chenille is more dense and thicker and softer. ... show more

Unfortunately there isn't a lot of good to mention here. The backing doesn't stick well even on a clean floor. You can see through to the bottom of the mat which makes it look cheap. The small nubs this material is made of, while soft if you hit them at an angle, compress and become stiff and almost sharp feeling if you put weight directly on them straight down. I ordered these two rugs for our bathroom. The runner is the perfect length as is the smaller rug for the areas in which I am using them. They are definitely non-slip, texture is somewhat firm (but I only walk on them, do not use as bath mat), colors as described and an asset to our bathroom. These are new so haven't washed them yet- -when I do I will provide an additional review IF they do not meet the standards described. ... show more

I've ordered two of these now in the beige/white to match my bathroom colors. They grip aspect works fine and it's soft and plushy as you would expect. However, my biggest issues is that after about 2 weeks of normal use in and out of the shower and around the sink, it got dirty...and is forever ruined. Maybe because it's the light colors, but I'd suggest not getting a beige and/or white color because it will be permanently stained by any dirt picked up from a shoe. I washed multiple times and dirt stains won't come out on either of the two bathroom rugs I had. Pictured is after two weeks and multiple washes. ... show more

I live in a tiny old house in Oregon and bought carpets to help keep it warm and less dusty. This, is by far, the best carpet I have gotten. It is heavy duty and really soft. It’s a good size. I bought two of the smaller size ones in pink for my bathroom (put them next to each other so it’s like one big rug). I just ordered two more - one for my bedroom and one for the living room for my son to play on. Definitely worth the money. ... show more

    • Not happy feet

If I could give it zero for softness I would. It actually hurts my feet. That does no good as a shower rug. On the positive side, I do love the size. I just wish it maybe had a better backing that made it softer.
