This was my third attempt at finding a rug that wouldn't catch on the door when opened. The other mats I had were too thick and slid around far too easily. This mat is perfect on both counts! I liked the size and design of the mat. However It still has a strong rubber smell, but I’m confident that will go away in time. My frustration is it still will not lay flat!! I followed enclosed suggestions on how to alleviate the problem, 1 week later…waiting.

This mat was delivered rolled up, which is a big difference from another mat we bought and returned. The other mat was packaged by folding and it never smoothed out at the fold lines, so it stopped our door from opening. This mat rolled out and stuck to our floor. The edge stuck up a little, but we rolled it in the opposite way and laid a box on it to counteract the roll. The mat itself seems very durable and has a bit of weight to it. It also looks really easy to vacuum up particles for regular cleaning. We are very happy with this mat and would recommend it for a front door indoor mat. ... show more

I really like the quality of this and love the tree design. My only complaint is it came rolled up and no matter how many times I roll it the opposite way to try and get it to lay flat, one side stays bubbled up and the door won’t open over it and we tend to trip on it.
