I use this to seal up and hold the little tears in the carpet from our puppy. I don’t want to replace the carpet until she’s older and this is great temporary solution. Holds great, easy to use.

I bought this 2-pack to reinforce my RV's awning, which was delaminating (coming apart) at the very top section (the part that is always exposed to the sun). Prior to applying, I followed some advice I got online for how to make this stuff stick, and it seems to be working: 1.) clean off the area you're going to apply this stuff using soapy water. 2.) clean the area again with a 50/50 mixture of water and Isopropyl Alcohol. I mixed these together in a spray bottle, and worked my way over the entire area. 3.) apply the tape - slowly and carefully - making sure you don't leave any creases or wrinkles where air (and later water) could get trapped. 4.) use a roller to go over the entire area to ensure the edges are sealed and any air bubbles worked out. I did this about a month ago, and the awning looks great (except for the areas of the awning that delaminated down to the fiberglass threads layer). Not sure how long this will last (the sun is the sun, after all), but even if it only buys me a year, it's a good temporary solution. ... show more

This is a good product. I gave it the tough test by using it to repair a plastic chair mat by my sewing machine. It had split and I didn't have time to pull everything out so I grabbed a roll. Used two layers on the cracked spit several weeks ago and it is doing great plus the tape has not even rolled up with the constant use of my chair. I roll back and forth constantly as I work. I am sure I will use a little more. Also used the black to repair a broken seat on another office chair. ... show more

    • Great tape, weatherproof, and strong
Remarkably strong and effective. It's become my preferred heavy-duty tape. It's easy to use, though you do need to cut the tape vs. tear it like duct tape - it is just too sturdy. I recently changed all our outside light fixtures and ended up with numerous open screw holes from different sized mounts. This stuff was perfect for covering the holes to avoid any hidden leaks and bonds to the vinyl siding seamlessly. The patches are hidden by the fixtures but even if exposed, they wouldn't be too noticeable since the tape is truly transparent. It's a bit more expensive but well worth it for the quality. I've got rolls in all our cars now because this is such a useful item, you'd want it on hand for all sorts of uses. ... show more

I made flower pots out of flavor water bottles and used some more to put together with a slit cut out of each one except the bottles on the ends I needed something to keep them together and clear at first I tried super glue that melted the plastic bottles I tried reg duct tape and I did not like the color I still wanted clear so I went to my favor site Amazon and put in gorilla clear duct tape and for outside use the tape worked I was so happy. ... show more

    • Most Amazing Tape Ever Used
Wow. I can’t say enough good things about this tape. It’s super sticky but not to the point that you end up fighting with it like so many others I have used in the past. It is also easy to rip off a piece and it doesn’t get stuck on itself as well. I put together a small greenhouse using this tape onto PVC pipe and it’s holding up really well. I will update this post once I have gone through a complete season with it to see how it handles the rain and cold. ... show more

    • This is now my absolute favorite tape!
I LOVE this new clear repair tape. At least I think it's new. It's new to me!!! It's super strong, but completely transparent. I used it a TON this Christmas for odd tape jobs, or wrapping paper that scotch tape wouldn't adhere to, etc.. I also use it for many jobs that I would have used duct tape (or normal Gorilla tape), but would have been a bit turned off by covering up what I was taping. This works wonders. I just wish it was a little cheaper, otherwise I'd use it exclusively for all my taping needs! ... show more
