Description

Crystal Clear Transparent Gorilla Duct Tape features the strength of Gorilla Tape, in a crystal clear tape that does not yellow outdoors. Made with a heavy duty adhesive layer and waterproof backing for extreme durability. This tape is UV and temperature resistant - great for projects and repairs both indoors and out. Crystal Clear Gorilla Duct Tape is best if used between 10°F and 120°F. To prevent fingerprints, clean your hands prior to using the tape and handle the tape only at edge. Use a straight edge (credit card or similar object), to press out fingerprints.For best results, apply the tape to a clean surface. Airtight patches are best achieved on smooth, dry surfaces with the tape on both sides of the repair (when accessible). Tape size should be larger than the repair area, extending beyond all edges. Rub the entire surface of the tape aggressively, especially the edges. NOTE: Surface patch will gain additional strength with time. Crystal Clear Gorilla Duct Tape works best for patching with a single layer. Not for patching inflatables at seams. Remarkably strong and effective. It's become my preferred heavy-duty tape. It's easy to use, though you do need to cut the tape vs. tear it like duct tape - it is just too sturdy. I recently changed all our outside light fixtures and ended up with numerous open screw holes from different sized mounts. This stuff was perfect for covering the holes to avoid any hidden leaks and bonds to the vinyl siding seamlessly. The patches are hidden by the fixtures but even if exposed, they wouldn't be too noticeable since the tape is truly transparent. It's a bit more expensive but well worth it for the quality. I've got rolls in all our cars now because this is such a useful item, you'd want it on hand for all sorts of uses. ... show more

I use this to seal up and hold the little tears in the carpet from our puppy. I don’t want to replace the carpet until she’s older and this is great temporary solution. Holds great, easy to use.

This works well in a variety of repair situations. It is strong, seals clear. For packaging or labels, I use something else less expensive.

I bought this 2-pack to reinforce my RV's awning, which was delaminating (coming apart) at the very top section (the part that is always exposed to the sun). Prior to applying, I followed some advice I got online for how to make this stuff stick, and it seems to be working: 1.) clean off the area you're going to apply this stuff using soapy water. 2.) clean the area again with a 50/50 mixture of water and Isopropyl Alcohol. I mixed these together in a spray bottle, and worked my way over the entire area. 3.) apply the tape - slowly and carefully - making sure you don't leave any creases or wrinkles where air (and later water) could get trapped. 4.) use a roller to go over the entire area to ensure the edges are sealed and any air bubbles worked out. I did this about a month ago, and the awning looks great (except for the areas of the awning that delaminated down to the fiberglass threads layer). Not sure how long this will last (the sun is the sun, after all), but even if it only buys me a year, it's a good temporary solution. ... show more
