Gorilla Tough & Clear Mounting Tape (pack of 12) is a clear double sided tape that mounts in an instant, for a long-lasting, weatherproof bond. The crystal clear tape won’t yellow over time, and holds up to 38 pounds. Gorilla Tough & Clear Mounting Tape is perfect for indoor and outdoor projects and sticks to smooth and rough surfaces. Completing DIY projects are easy with this 12 pack of tough, strong double sided tape. Mount, build, and repair for a perfect finish, every time. Adhesive tape for wall hanging, bonding odd objects, or mounting heavy objects. Directions: Apply tape to back of object vertically, allowing for even distribution of weight. Avoid touching surfaces of the tape. Note: Apply 4” of tape per 1lb of weight. Cut the tape and press to secure the tape to object. Remove clear liner and align objects to desired placement. Press firmly, as heavy duty tape conforms to the surface and creates a strong, Permanent bond. Once Heavy Duty Mounting Tape is used to mount an object, it is meant to be held in place permanently, and not be removed. Double sided tape for walls and windows alike. Well it does the job. If you have an apartment complex who is particular with drilling holes, this does the job! I was able to mount my camera with this tape to my door frame and it’s held up pretty nicely. AZ heat is no joke and the fact that it has withstood this environment should mean something. So I put mirrors up on the wall and as long as you put plenty of tape it held up great but I tried using it for lights in my closet it didn’t hold up. I bought these sensors stick lights and the adhesive it comes with doesn’t hold up so I bought this tape and still they fall down

Not impressed. Tried to use this on a thin piece of wood which it states it can be used on but it didn’t stay. Then I tried it on the back of some decorative metal hanging leaf lights (super light weight) and held for 60 seconds and the next day they were unstuck. Meh. I’ll stick with that little white and green tape in the bottom of my picture. It’s always worked well. I just thought I’d try this Gorilla “Incredibly Strong” “Tough & Clear” mounting tape. Ha! We used the Gorilla tape to tape outdoor cushions to the back of a bench on my mom's porch. Before, the cushions would not stay up, and the Gorilla tape has worked great in holding them into place. The bench & cushions looked so much nicer!
