Pretty straight forward set up/connection to gopro. All in all, very satisfied with what I received! I wish it came with a wrist loop though. Bought it for our trip to Puerto Rico. Was able to capture many of our fun adventures. Battery last about an hour, so having the spare battery was nice. I would recommend picking up an accessory kit for chest, bike, suction cup, and helmet mounting.

I was excited when I first bought this GoPro 8 Hero model more than a year ago. I have been able to shoot good videos with some small issue on stabilization. I shoot mostly on 1080p mode and hardly 4k because it drains the battery really fast. We always read all the great reviews on GoPro products but now I believe the quality of their products have gone downhill. I wasted more than $ 300 buying this GoPro model. I can do a better job with the latest Iphone or Samsung smart phones. Or even better just get a Canon or Sony Vlogging camera for around $ 500 or more. Too bad my product warranty is past the one year deadline. So disappointed and all I have now is a door stop. Saying goodbye to GoPro products. ... show more

Turned on once and that was it. GoPro hero eight black arrived in the mail opened it up charged it up worked wonderful turned it off placed it back in its case got it out 2 months later to use for the first time wouldn’t turn on. Both batteries charged both batteries worked in another GoPro hero 8 black. Went through every option I could find online as well as through GoPro services nothing would work. When buying this product I would highly recommend getting it from someone who is willing to exchange it for a working one, if something was to go wrong. ... show more
