Bought it for our trip to Puerto Rico. Was able to capture many of our fun adventures. Battery last about an hour, so having the spare battery was nice. I would recommend picking up an accessory kit for chest, bike, suction cup, and helmet mounting.

The video is awesome on it. After I download the video and erase the memory from the chip, every time I start recording again after about 10 min it says that memory is full and turns off. I then have to start it and reset it to start working again. Also almost every time I connect it to the app I have to reset it because it freezes and loses Bluetooth connection. Want a newer one but not with these problems I won’t. ... show more

I've only owned for 2 days and I've taken several test videos. Seems to do what it's advertised to do. App could be a little more intuitive but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure things out. I've been an IT guy for 20 years but still habe a lot of questions about what defaults and best settings should be and what they do and what they're commonly used for. App is called GoPro Quick. Which makes me wonder if there's a standard more thorough app. Edit: Battery life is horrific.. picture quality of stills are worse than battery life. Fiddling with the screen display with adult fingers is near impossible..sending it back. ... show more

You should definitely pick extra batteries with an external charger. I used it for airsoft, onewheeling, vlogs, etc. works great, good field of view, easy to use, decent built in audio, and amazing stabilization. I like.
