UPDATE: So all of a sudden it stopped working. (used it only a handful of times) It would basically surge on for a few seconds then shut right off. The company was VERY helpful and refunded me part of the payment to get it fixed or buy a new router alone, without major hassle, even tho it's out of the return date. It's great for a trim router, but if you need to make deep cuts, take multiple passes, but that's with any "palm" router. Still very happy with my purchase even after the issues I've had. I love how it came with all the bases for it. Great first router for someone getting into woodworking or things like that. I'm not an expert, and I haven't had it very long, but it doesn't burn when using even when taking cuts deeper than you should. Obviously it doesn't have a ton of power but it's got plenty for what I need. If you are using for professional use, it may not be as fast/efficient as bigger more expensive models, but it definitely gets the job done better than I expected. There's no need for two wrenches either, as there's a "quick change" pin you can press. I'm using with cheap bits too and it hasn't had any issues yet. only one minor complaint is the swivel depth stop on the plunge base is a little looser than it should be, but honestly that's not a big issue, just make sure you engage all the way down every time. I'm super excited to finally have a router, even if it is a little palm router. If I get another it will be a bigger one for a router table setup. I will update if my opinion changes. You can't beat it for the price for sure. Update#2 I purchased the cordless makita trim router and the bases from this one fit perfectly as I'd hoped. Still happy with the purchase after about a year of having it and having it break on me

Bases fit my cordless makita router. Havent even tried the router itself. Seems like decent quality bases at a fraction of the cost of the brand name makita bases

Excellant value I have a dozen handheld routers. I just ordered 3 of these to add to the 2 I already have. It’s my favorite one in this size. Easily adjustable and holds its setting. The extra base in this set is a total bonus.

This is my first router, for someone like me practicing entry to skilled level woodworking that is pretty good router. Used it on a few small diy projects already. It's light weight, quiet and very smooth to operate. Meets my expectation, would recommend this product.

Great deal to get all the bases but the motor is weak. During cutting operations rpm climbs and falls inconsistently Use as trimmer is fine but don’t count on much more.
