I don't think this tree is nearly as bad as some reviews make it out to be. It took me maybe an hour to fluff up the entire thing to my liking. Yes there are some gaps but once I put the lights & ornaments the gaps were barely noticeable. I did have some trouble putting the poles together. Had to get my boyfriend to help with that part. Top was sturdy enough to hold a light weighted topper. I think if you're on a budget this is a great choice for a tree. The directions are not very helpful though.

If you are not looking to pay much and just want a Christmas-y vibe, this tree will work fine. I live in a small, one-bedroom apartment with my bf and we don't mind it, since it's just us and it was pretty easy to set up. I will say that it feels a little loose putting the pieces together, but it's standing on its own just fine. Probably took us about 20 minutes. Haven't decorated it yet, but I'm sure it won't be a problem since it has sturdy stems. Won't be returning it and might even use it for the coming years. We're broke and just wanted a Christmas vibe for the holidays, so it works for us. I thought 6ft would be too tall, but honestly might not be tall enough...also wish it was a tiny bit wider (we widened it as much as possible). Also the little pine needle leaves will shed when you open the package and assemble it, so maybe assemble it on a floor that's easy to sweep/vacuum.

I overestimated the height of this off of the description. The height definitely matches the description, I just thought it’d be taller for some reason. It’s very pretty, but the bristles if you will of the branches are very paper/confetti like so I ordered a different brand.

Sooo, I love, love, love the tree. I purchased the 8ft tree. I wanted to put it in the basement to keep my toddler from bothering it. But the ceilings too low. I have 9ft ceilings in the sitting area where the tree is placed in the picture. It is definitely 8ft. However, you cant put anything on the very tip. You would have to bend it to fix a topper to it. That would put it at about 7.5ft. Once you put on the topper it would most likely bring the tree back to 8+ feet or more depending on the height of the topper. In any case, you get what you pay for! I expected that from all the reviews, which I'm glad I read so that I would not expect more than what I got. I broke it in 2 places assembling right out the box, but it was nothing that you could not fix with household items. With that said, if you are looking for something to last many years then do not buy it. The pole of the entire tree is made out of a flimsy metal that will break with the least bit of pressure. I put the top portion of the tree on and it was heavy. The tree fell over. When I picked it up the bottom pole portion split so that the top would not sit in it anymore. I used some sort of metal clamp that my husband had laying around to close the split in the bottom and put the top back in. I went to put on the second portion and I looked and it had got a little bent from the fall as well. I tried to bend it back and an inch piece broke off. I had to glue it back in to the little white insert piece with some gorilla glue, which worked. But, I lost about an inch from the tree. Not too bad! That was fine. Then I finished opening all the limbs and went to put the very top portion on (It came with 3 pieces) and it looked a little crooked. So, I tried to just position it a tiny bit and I broke it in the middle. Almost in half, but because it was still partially connected, I just put some more gorilla glue in the spot and held it together with a piece of stick and tape. As you can see from the picture the tree looks fine. None of the mendings are showing or noticable at all. If you're heavy handed let someone with delicate hands handle the tree. It's a very nice tree for the price. The only thing wrong is that the metal is so feather weight. It may last 2 xmas' but I would not expect any longer than that. All in all a very nice tree. I would definitely recommend it.
