Many reviewers say the "breaks" don't work. (The "breaks" people also butcher "to, too, and two"). These brakes operate exactly as designed, not to slow down or stop a moving rollator, but intended to anchor the thing after it is completely stopped. Purpose - so that if you are standing in front of it, intending to sit down, it does not roll backward all by itself just as you are almost seated, dumping you on the floor. The quality of construction is the best you will find anywhere. I don't see how they could deliver a product this good at the price they wanted. When used as a walker support, pushed by the owner from the rear, the owner can flip the seat back support so he can sit down from the rear just to rest a bit. But if he is being pushed by another person, he can rotate the support for his feet to the front to prevent his feet them from scraping on the concrete. To do that, he must flip the seat back support before he sits down, and then walk around to the front to sit down. The support for the rider's feet can be removed in 2 seconds. If the rollator is being used in the home, where it is being used without pushing help from another person, the foot support can be put in a cardboard box in the car trunk, for use on another day for going down hospital corridors. Easy removal, no tools needed.

Bought this for my 90yr old mother as she is using a cane and needed something better to get around with, especially when out shopping. She loves it and very easy to put inside her car and get out. Love the seat when she gets tired or just wants to sit down. So simple to put together and we use without the foot rests but keeping in case she needs later.

I bought this for my husband to use after spending 4 months in the hospital after getting Covid19 and being placed on a ventilator as well as suffering 2 strokes while in the hospital. He is 47 and had to learn to walk and do basic daily tasks all over again, this transport chair is awesome there is only 2 things I would change about it. It had hard plastic wheels not rubber like a normal wheelchair which makes it harder to get over door frames or carpet to hard flooring, when it comes to these and your loved one is in it the chair/walker will halt suddenly instead of gliding over like a wheelchair does. The other thing is balance please be very attentive with your loved one while they get up from this as it will tip forward if they normally need to push up to get in a standing position. Other than these 2 things this is a great walker/chair combo however I would use it for someone who has more stability/endurance.

This product is functionally what I ordered. But the leg support was bent. I contacted seller by phone and email but won't help me because I did not purchase thru them directly. I even offered just to purchase replacement part directly but they are not helping with location of replacement part or assisting with options. Customer service is horrible!!!

I recently blew out my meniscus and had to consider some equipment options. We had high hopes for this chair because it is both a walker and wheel chair. However, it is really not great at either. So, if you need a walker, get a rolling walker. If you need a wheel chair, get a wheel chair. If you need both as we do - it's better to get one of each. As a wheel chair, it is awkward and as the rider it feels.. insecure. There are no comfortable arm rests. The leg/foot stands are difficult to flip aside and the foot stands don't stay up - so when the legs are flipped out of the way- the foot pieces stick out. As the rider, it also feels like you're about to fall forward and out of the chair. As a walker, you need to fully remove the leg and foot stands or you will never get anywhere as they are always in the way. Honestly, we rolled the dice thinking it would be helpful for me as a travel tool, but we have chosen to donate this and purchase the separate pieces. Won't help with traveling - having both pieces, but I will use the airport transport option and perhaps consider bringing my walker. Just my opinion, but while it "works" as a wheel chair and walker, it does neither as well as you hope. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
