just be extra careful, it's already broken a few parts, but when it works, its fast and a lot of fun. recommend upgrading the knuckles on the wheels with steel or aluminum, the plastic ones are junk. the wing is held in with very thin and small screws, any kind of crash and game over. Oversize screws got me back in business more or less. batteries take a really long time to charge, i'm used to LiPo and NiMh that are much quicker. ... show more

    • Car breaks with every single outing.

As mentioned in the title, this car breaks every single time it’s ran. Firstly one of the batteries it came with was basically DOA, ran three times and totally died off, then the terrible caps in the hinge pin braces would break as even small impacts (which are difficult to find replacements for), then the shock towers, which from what I’m aware are rare to bend, have bent at the smallest of impacts or even off of a 4 inch jump, then the rear differential housing ripped a screw clean out just from the power it has, then the ESC burnt up, and after replacing the ESC the 550 motor has burnt up, and I wouldn’t even consider how I’ve run this as “hard” given how these have been ran on YouTube videos. I would say I’ve driven it moderately in a dirt/light gravel environment and on grass in my back yard with a small 4 inch jump over a pallet with a board laying on it. I had high hopes with how insanely positive all of the YouTube reviews seem to be of this car, but at this point I feel insanely burnt and extremely disappointed. I’ve had to replace multiple screws that strip under basic use, the ESC, the shock towers, both front and rear hinge pin braces (upgraded them even), replaced the entire rear differential housing with a metal one to prevent stripping under load, replaced the spoiler mounts because they were stripped out of the box, have an entirely dead battery already, and now have to make the decision on replacing the motor or calling it quits. I would refund this thing so fast if it were possible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. It’s so fun for the 30 seconds it runs which only makes it so much more heartbreaking when the tiniest of things breaks it. I’d rather have gotten a car that was terrible in every way instead of one that gives you hope only to let you down. ... show more

This is a great little buggy for beginners, note that before you use it definitely check the diffs for grease as with all wltoys rc cars tue diffs have very little to no grease in them also check the oil in the shocks mine came with no oil other than those two things this buggy is my new favorite basher ... show more

Bought this for my grandson. I was a little worried about the speed and him getting hurt. I told my son to supervise. He sent me a video of him playing with it. I had no ideal it had a speed control setting. GREAT! Good job WLtoys...

    • Know what your getting

Car is fast, very fast. The car is built better than I thought, because of all the complaining about things breaking. Then when I drove it at 30mph and it made sense. I think to many people are trying to use this as a basher and it's not one. It can bash a little, but it's so fast at speed it will break. Turn down the speed and you'll be fine. Couple things to note. Always pregrease drivetrain and dog bones, front and rear diff. Buy a good battery, the one that comes with it is garbage lasts about 5min. Motor and ESC get hot very, very quickly. ESC gets hotter than motor, if you can't keep your finger on it let it cool. Can happen as quickly as 10 min. However following this we have not burnt anything up yet. Also get new tires, these will wear fast. Watch lots of YouTube videos about it. And of course have fun. ... show more
