  • Love this little plane!!
Edition: 3 Battery
This little 2 channel plane is awesome! I have been heavily into the RC hobby for many many years. I have a very extensive collection of cars, trucks and planes. Nitro electric and even a few gas powered vehicles. I bought this because the price was very affordable and I thought it might be a fun little toy to fly indoors and introduce rc planes to my 6 year old son. It arrived on time and packaged well. The box it comes in doubles as an excellent case to carry it in. Mine had a couple of 1s lipo batteries. It charges up quickly and flys on a full battery for a very long time (maybe 10 minutes). My only real complaint is the transmitter or controller. Its pretty cheap feeling. It reminds me of a controller you would get with a small inexpensive indoor drone. That said it functions great! Excellent range and runs on only a couple aa batteries. When i was a kid in the early 80's I remember i had this 2 channel rc plane and it was absolutely horrible. It was very expensive (well over $100) and the tx only had two buttons on it. Left button turned left and climbed in altitude, right button banked right and went down or lost altitude. Needless to say it was basically unflyable. Back then that was basically the only option for an rc plane that wasn't a very expensive hobby grade nitro RC plane. Something like this would've been absolutely amazing. Comparatively this plane flys awesome and is a fraction of the price. To gain altitude you give it more throttle input and it goes up. It kind of porpoises as it gains altitude but totally flyable and really fun! It kind of flies like its tail heavy which is normally really bad with hobby grade rc planes but not with this little guy. Its very controllable and a real blast to fly around your backyard or a park. You don't need much space but unfortunately flying it indoors would be pretty difficult unless you were in a gymnasium or something. The plane is made of foam and is basically indestructable. It doest really go fast enough to do any damage in the event of a crash. But that doesn't mean it super slow or anything. It's just really well made. The only thing I could see breaking is the propellers and they give you an extra set of propellers. Even if you jumped up and down on this little guy I don't think you'd do enough damage to render it permanently broken. I have planes that cost hundreds of dollars that are far more delicate. It makes me really happy that cool fun little inexpensive toys like this exist because it brings people into the hobby. I highly recommend this plane and urge you to get it if you're on the fence at all. I highly recommend this super fun little rc plane. ... show more

  • This is a great backyard flyer
Edition: 3 Battery
This is a very mild flyer. It lacks power and control to do any stunts (rolls, loops, etc.). It uses differential thrust to the two motors for steering. Initially, you need to reduce the power to about half throttle to avoid endless "porpoising" as it will rise, stall, fall, and rise again if you use too much power. It will turn in a 10-15 foot space if you keep enough power to slowly gain altitude in straight flight, and thus avoid losing altitude in the turns (You need a bit more power for a turn than for level flight--not surprising). I had a flight time of almost 20 minutes--until finally full throttle was not enough to stay airborne. My only disappointment was that mine was missing a charge cord (instruction manual says there is one included), requiring me to find another way to recharge the batteries. It is durable at the slow flying speed, which is good as the learning curve for newbies might require several minutes of crashes. In time, I will try to trim the tail elevator to limit stalls while allowing for flat turns. ... show more

  • Best beginner plane or just a fun toy
Edition: 3 Battery
Great plane for the money. It is foam but it’s pretty flexible and durable to crashes. I took it out of the box and went straight to flying it outside. It doesn’t really like the wind but even in a stronger breeze, it flys no problem. Besides being a tiny controller, I haven’t had any trouble with signal or controls for the plane. The controller has a little compartment that perfectly fits the spare props which is really smart design. The charger is a little weird because you have to plug it into the charging block before you plug it in the wall otherwise it won’t work. Other than that it surprised me on how much fun you can get out of a $40 rc plane ... show more

  • This is a terrible plane.
Edition: 3 Battery
This plane can't actually glide, you control it's elevation with the throttle which doesn't really work. It's too fast for indoor and the tiniest tiny wind will crash this plane immediately. This is also way overpriced for the (lack of) quality of the product. Look elsewhere.

  • Not that good
Edition: 3 Battery
I flew it and it flew good at first but after the motors weren't really powerful enough to fly good and the tail ripped easily I wouldn't recommend you to buy it not worth the money.

  • Not kid friendly
Edition: 3 Battery
This is an easy plane to fly for kids because it takes a beating but it does take a bit to fly. You need to keep it close to the remote. It can not fly with any wind. The slightest breeze will carry it away.

  • Cool plane
Edition: 3 Battery
It’s a good cheap plane. I removed the electronics and put a brick rx in it with integrated servos. So it flies way better now. The old electronics will probably go towards an rc plane project for under 7g.

  • Exactly what I was looking for
Edition: 3 Battery
My 8 year old has been asking me for a R/C plane. I did not want to get him a big expensive one yet because 1) I can never tell how long things like this will keep his interest 2) I did not want something that was heavy and could damage things that it crashed in to 3) I did not want to spend a lot of money on something that could easily be destroyed in a crash After researching inexpensive beginner planes I came across this plane, and it addresses all of my concerns. It has simple, straighforward controls, is extremely light with styrofoam construction, and is reasonable priced. I was worried about durability, but it has crashed many time and held up just fine. The simple controls are appropriate for a young child, and he has lots of fun flying his first R/C plane. And I don't have to worry about him damaging anything if he does crash it. And if it is damaged, it is easily repaired and can be replaced without a huge out of pocket expense. It is also fun for adults too, and is small and light enough to be safely flown indoors. ... show more
