    • It does fly as stated - but cheaply made.
It's fun and enjoyable but not very well made. It does not cost alot. Does ok for what it is.

    • Not worthbit.
Weak propeller won't carry this far, break easily, and had poor handling.

    • My kid loves it, when it flies.
Review Image by Ruben Marin
First impression was positive, it absolutely flies but controlling it is another story. Any wind at all can be problematic, and trees are this planes arch enemy. Takeoffs from the ground are iffy at best and water takeoffs aren't going to happen without a huge gust of wind picking it up. Launching by hand is the best method or downhill on smooth pavement with a nose wind for lift. For our second attempt at flying this I let my 5yr old take the controller at a local park with a good acre and a half of open ground. It flew really well but kept climbing until it was pushed away by the wind and ended up stuck in a tree 4-500 ft away. We eventually got it down and decided a smaller area in a lower base out of the wind path was better. Low and slow is the key for this thing, once the wind gets a hold of it it doesn't have enough power to overcome it. Unfortunately, throttle control sucks its either climbing or falling, it's very hard to get it to fly at a steady altitude. All that said the kids can fly it easily with some ground rules for shutting it down vs it flying away. And this plane can take some abuse, more often that not its falling nose down into the ground instead of gliding. After retrieving it from its last tree landing it would list heavily to the right and fly only nose up. I've contacted goolrc for assistance. Pros: easy to use controller, seemingly good battery life, durable frame, excellent range. Cons: throttle control is terrible, not enough power for unassisted takeoffs, not enough power to fly in the wind, gets stuck in trees a lot. ... show more

    • Potentially a decent plane
I received this model as a Christmas gift. Flying it straight is super easy, but turns take a lot of practice. The plane dives hard as it turns, so you wind up doing turns in short bursts to regain altitude, and this makes it not so agile. You'll need a lot of open space. It's very light weight, so any breeze at all will knock it around. Also, the 2 batteries are complete trash. One didn't work at all, and the other one has a bad connector. The battery cover didn't latch at all, so that'll have to be taped down. The little plane takes a beating though, very tough to be just styrofoam. Discovering how difficult it is to guide lead to several hard impacts with the ground, the side of my house, and my deck, with no damage. Just FYI, if the propeller comes off, make sure you put it back on with the blades sweeping slightly backwards, or you'll lose your ability to turn in one direction. EDIT: See my new video. It's honestly too windy to be flying, but it performed admirably considering the conditions. The repeated climbing / diving was the result of a headwind. ... show more

    • Good toy
Surprisingly this toy has held up well and flies very well. It’s different from a plane or drone in the way it flies. You can let it go up and then drift or glide down and then bring it back up. People at the park were amazed when we took it there.

    • Very nice for the price
Easy to fly for a beginner. Would recommend having a large area to fly as it turns slow. Haven't tried a water landing yet
