This battery lasts me for 4-5 days without a charge. It also has such advanced heart tracking tech that it can detect if you're having A-FIB heart irregularities. I've had issues with A-FIB after some withdrawal symptoms and getting 2 COVID shots. Now I'm way more confident because I basically have an EKG on my wrist (although it had a legal warning saying that it cannot replace a real EKG machine but it's pretty damn close). It has fall and crash detection from its accelerometers that detect extreme GeForce, and heart stoppage detection that instantly shares all of your info, location, and some important medical info if you choose to enter it to emergency services and/or an emergency contact. I'm in a mover/furniture delivery team that delivers/extracts new and old furniture in and out of buildings all over the twin cities metro area in Minnesota and in the summer we burn from 4000 to 7000 calories a day depending on work load. It tracked all of my metrics pretty accurately so I know how much to eat that day to stay strong. Since I have a job that can easily destroy a smart watch I went with the Spigen Rugged Armor case and band with a screen protector and now my watch is a tank with zero blemishes when I take it out to clean it. Also the glass on the watch screen is very durable. Also sleep is very important to a guy like me. Gotta rest the body after those 13hr shifts. This watch will track it extremely precisely and it'll find out how much light, deep, and REM sleep you get based on the heart monitor and other sensors. I wear it in the shower (you can swim with it) and I am able to take calls or talk to the Google assistant to send a text back without having to get out of the shower and take with wet fingers. The AI Google assistant/Gemini is extremely capable and responsive compared to the later models. I can ask it whatever I want by tapping my index and thumb together twice to wake up the assistant and say whatever I want. The gestures are all customizable too. Super easy to set up and navigate through. My mom got one too and she set it up no problem. It fits on my wrist just fine but I also have larger wrists and forearms so the 45mm still looks small on me and my mom's 45mm is great for her older eyes since the display is so bright and big. She loves hers. We both have pixel 7 pros as smartphones and pairing and setting up the watch is an absolute cake walk. Totally worth the price. I returned the Samsung Galaxy 8 pro that was nearly $700 before I got this bc it simply would not pair with my phone and my Google account and the app required to set it up was flawed. I spent around half the price on this watch and I'm so glad I did. Last thing is it is not water proof but it's water resistant enough to swim and shower with. Just no high pressure water that'll blast between the cracks and no diving for the same reasons when it's under decent water pressure

I purchased this to replace my old Samsung Galaxy watch three, which was great when it was new but no longer worked well with my Google pixel 10 phone. After much research and reading a lot of reviews, I decided the Google pixel 4, 45 mm watch was my best choice. It was a bit pricey, but I think you definitely get your moneys worth. First and foremost I am very very picky about comfort. This watch is lighter than my previous one and the band is extremely comfortable. The fact that it comes with two different size bands makes it an easy fit. The watch far and away does more than I could ever need as far as function and apps. It has the complete Fitbit suite, but I don’t use it at this time. It was easy to set up, the two devices really work well together and meshed perfectly. Everything is easy to see and the display is very customizable. A lot of the reviews I read said that people were getting 1 to 2 days on the battery life. I am a pretty basic person. I want my watch to give me email and text alerts as well as being able to answer the phone if need be. Without any of the Fitbit apps running, I actually get about 3 to 4 days of use on one charge. Average is about 25% battery per day. I do not use it at night and in fact I take it off when I sleep. My best guess is if I wore it all the time, it would be about two days full use between charging. The other cool thing is that it charges extremely fast. If I were going to buy another smart watch, I’m pretty sure I’m going to stick with the pixel line. So far I’m very impressed.

I'm loving this watch. It's a great step up from my Fitbit Charge 6. It works perfectly with my Pixel phone, too. I didn't know these things could do so much!!! It's awesome. I did purchase some different watch bands, because I'm not a huge fan of the silicone bands that usually come with any of the smart watches. I prefer cloth watchbands. I also picked up a screen protector also. The bezel is very nice but after reading some reviews describing it as delicate, I was concerned that I might scratch of smash it into something. Charging is super fast. Half charge in about 15 minutes. So its easy to throw it on the charger when jumping in the shower. A full charge will give you about 40 hours. The charging doc is great. Just drop it on. No fiddling around. I can customize just about everything including the face and what I want on it. There are thousands of customized watch faces available out there. Today I'm feeling a little bit Disney. There is so much to talk about with this watch. I would just suggest looking at reviews on YouTube. I'm also still learning about all the things this watch can do. I'm a senior. I wanted something I could wear that would have advanced fall detection. This has it. I wanted it, just in case I take a hard tumble while alone at home or trekking through the woods. I didn't get the model that works with satellites, so I still would need to have my phone near by. It also works with my Quest 3 VR while doing Supernatural (fitness app). I can make and receive phone calls through it, too. Cool, eh! If you remember who Dick Tracy was...you'll understand. AND It's a lot more affordable than an Apple watch. What's not to like?

For context, I previously used the Pixel Watch 2, which only came in the smaller size and had very limited battery life. I was constantly worried about when I could get a charge. I’ve also used several Garmin devices, including the Forerunner 255 Music, but I wanted the full experience of a true smartwatch—something that handled communication, apps, and daily convenience, not just fitness. Performance While Running My main concerns were simple: - receiving and responding to texts - taking calls - listening to music - using GPS while jogging The Pixel Watch 4 handles all of this smoothly. GPS locks quickly, and switching between apps—even mid‑run—is fast and reliable. This was sometimes a struggle on the smaller Pixel Watch 2, but not anymore. Design and Display The wider bezel gives you noticeably more usable screen space, and the domed design looks sleek. It really shows off the variety of watch faces you can download. Gemini Integration Google’s AI assistant, Gemini, is built in. I mainly use it for countdowns and timers, but it’s also great for opening apps, getting directions, sending texts, or even answering random trivia. It’s quick, responsive, and usually understands me on the first try. Battery Life & Charging (The Biggest Upgrade) This is where the Pixel Watch 4 absolutely fixes the biggest problem of the Pixel Watch 2. With the Pixel 2, charging was a constant headache. The charger had to be positioned just right, and I was always worried about running out of battery while out and about. The Pixel Watch 4 solves all of that. - The new charger magnetically snaps into place instantly. - I usually charge it while I’m in the shower, and that’s enough to keep it going for the day. - It now lasts long enough for sleep tracking and full‑day use without anxiety. This alone makes the upgrade worth it. Overall Experience The watch has been reliable, fast, and easy to use. With the improved battery and effortless charging, I can even take it on camping trips—something I never trusted the Pixel 2 to handle. I wanted something with a flashlight and simple charging, and this finally feels like a modern, well‑designed device. Honestly, it feels like going from an Apollo mission to a SpaceX mission. I’m coming from a Fitbit Versa 4, and the Google Pixel Watch 4 has been a great upgrade. It’s one of the best smartwatches I’ve owned and is easy to use for everyday activities, fitness, and sports. I mainly use it for golf and tracking my daily steps, and it works great for both. I like having my fitness and activity information easily accessible from my wrist, while also getting the additional features of a full smartwatch. Compared to my Versa 4, the Pixel Watch 4 feels like a more complete smartwatch experience while still providing the fitness tracking features I regularly use. Overall, I’m very happy with the upgrade. If you’re coming from a Fitbit or looking for a smartwatch that combines everyday functionality with fitness and sports tracking, the Pixel Watch 4 is a great choice.

The battery life is really great on this watch. I almost wore for two whole days and it didn't die. I just had to charge it as soon as I got home. All the functions in the watch work very well as with the fitness tracking, sleep tracking and heart rate. The band itself fits well as long as you don't make it skin tight lol like I did at first.

Love this watch! Upgraded from a fitness band to a wifi Google Pixel 4. Better cardio info includes slow, fast and afib notifications and detection. SOS feature is great! Crash and hard fall detection. Loss of pulse detection. These can be turned on or off and will contact Emergency services via phone or satellite if you are in a desolate area to give them your exact coordinates. Full access to my phone, Google apps and control of music via Bluetooth or app. I have the 41mm watch and have a 6 1/4" wrist. I was afraid this might be too big. I barely notice it until I need it. I wear it all the time, even while sleeping, for a week now. Charge while I shower or prep for bed and without the always on display the battery life is impressive. Charged early yesterday and still have 46% battery this morning. Most likely will need to charge tonight. Love the magnetic charging dock! The fitbit app requires a Google account and syncs with other fitness apps easily. I use the Fitbit, Bearable and Health connect apps all paired with my Samsung Fold 4. Not one complaint yet! The price is very good for all this watch is delivering. Keeps my calendar, reminders, AI on your wrist, vibration alarms or audible, your choice. Not using GPS on the watch since it's on my phone, but expect it would be just fine. Just redundant with a wifi model that has to be paired to the phone. I'm super pleased with all the functions it is offering so far.

This watch is really functional equivalent of the old Pixel Watch I've been using since 2022. The only advantage comparing with the old one is bigger screen. But you pay for it with sufficiently heavier device which is less comfortable on the hand. I understand, new processor, new sensors, a lot of new stuff, but I don't see any slightest advantage of these options comparing with the old watch. Faster? maybe, but the old one was fast enough not to see nay delays. Temperature sensor? But with terrible phone Google Health phone app you don't see it's readings. New oxygen saturation sensor? But it works exactly as the old one and you still can't see variability of the oxygen readings during night and so evaluate possibility of having sleep apnea. The ECG app just does not work on this watch at all! When trying to use it, it asks to provide permission for (quote from the watch screen) "read access to heart rate data to use with this feature" this this access already was provided - otherwise the pulse rate won't be visible on the screen. The separate topic of extreme disappointment is the Google Health app necessary for using this watch. It's heavily modified Fitbit app, previously bought by Google and damaged to the state of barely useable. The Fitbit app never was perfect, but all modifications made by Google converted it to the worst - I never thought that Fitbit app can be made worse that it was originally. Anyhow, I'm keeping this watch just because of the size of the screen which is important for me because of my poor eyesight. Otherwise, I'd never recommend anybody with good eyesight switching to this device from previous versions of Google Watches. Also, the software in this watch is a wonderful collection of "well known bugs", For example, just today I tried to use the ECG app. It didn't work because of absence of some permission. Gemini told me about "known bug" and tried to lead me through certain steps to override it. But even the steps in this path are not available because either there is another "known bug", or Google during last upgrades of the software changed options in different steps of the menus. And they do it constantly so that even their own AI is not in the know of what menus and their options are there in the new firmware. This watch with such dysfunctional management over software development in one of the biggest corporations in the world is useless in a lot of purposes people buy it for.
