Alright so I have had this phone since around the second week of December. Everything functions perfectly, no marks or scratches, the phone was in perfect condition and my battery is also very good and usually lasts the whole day and is in around 20 percent once I get home and I use my phone alot when at work and school so take that how you want to. However some problems did occur as when I tried to put a phone service on this phone it kept getting prompted to contact T-Mobile to set up e-sim and T-Mobile was not at all helpful and hanged up multiple times after putting me on hold for an hour. How ever I was able to work around this by scanning the QR code given to me by my phone provider instead to set up a e-sim. One last thing you might want to be informed of is that the camera on the back is very good but the front camera is good but you usually have to have ideal lighting as even in night vision when it seems to be a little dark where you are the camera is blurry. All that being said I recommend this phone to any one looking for a flagship level phone for a low price but be aware of the e-sim having to be worked around. ... show more

    • Issues with touch screen after 2 and a half months, poor customer service

The phone was fine, but after 2.5 months of ownership it became hard to type. The best way to describe the issue is like what happens when you have big fingers, except my typing has been perfect up to that moment. I would restart the phone and the issue would go away, but then randomly come back. I contacted vendor DNCL-TECHZONE and they agreed to my return. They even agreed to a later return as I was traveling back from from abroad. However, at the moment the vendor received the phone back, they started claiming that the phone had no issues in their short testing, which may have not been enough to experience what I was experiencing. The vendor DNCL-TECHZONE did not get back to me to try to understand more about what was failing, they immediately said they'd be keeping a 20% restocking fee, which in their return policies is due to "abusing the return process", and if "if the customer misrepresents the condition of the product". This vendor is not offering me a solution. This vendor DNCL-TECHZONE is actually putting the burden of their product not working as expected on me, making me pay for a restocking fee on a phone that didn't operate properly when I had it, and potentially selling it to the next person who will run into these issues. I believe this is not the way to treat a customer. I have an open case with Amazon and will update this review as the case evolves. ... show more

I bought this phone as a replacement for my Dad. He wanted a smaller screen, which can be hard to find with modern phones. This Pixel 8 works well. Set up was breeze, which is normal for Android when switching phones. The quality of the phone is flawless even though it comes in a plain brown box. Zero scratches or flaws of any kind. It comes with a Type C to Type C charging cable, but no charging block, which is fine. The battery needed to be charged, as it was at near zero power, but the battery life has been great so far. I purchased the unlocked version and it was definitely unlocked I used it on Xfinity mobile. No issue at all phone works great. Screen was perfect battery life was perfect as well. Great phone.

Phone for the most part was in good enough shape. Glass is good, back was good but lots of wear and tear from dirt getting behind the previous owner's case. USB C port had a boatload of wear around it from the USB C plug missing the mark 1000's of times. Phone was properly unlocked and worked with USMobile.     • Re-Cell Customer Service is a Joke

If I could give less that a start, I would give one point on the star. 1/5 of a start for the service! 1. I ordered a Pixel 8A but received a Samsung S25+ instead. Not a good look all around. Not a problem if he was out of Pixels and substituted a Samsung instead. But there was no explanation as to why the switch was initiated. 2. When I called the phone number, I got voice mail even after trying multiple times. 3. Initiated an email, and provided the order (invoice) number provided on the packing slip. Received a message asking for the exact information I had provided. 4. Decided to activate the Samsung because I need a phone for work and found out that Re-Cell never released the IMEI number, so I have no working phone. 5. Notified Re-Cell again and was instructed to either send the phone back to him or start the return process with Amazon. Welp, you cannot return a Samsung S25+ to Amazon when their records show a Pixel 8A was shipped. I had to send the phone back to Re-Cell and hope that a replacement would be sent. 6. Received an email from Re-Cell stating that they do not have an 8A to send so I would receive a credit back to my account for the amount paid. This all played out over the course of a week. I was left with an account locked by my carrier because I tried too many times to load the eSIM. This could have been easily addressed if Re-Cell was up front about the mis-shipped phone, the fact that they would not release the IMEI for the Samsung because they wanted it back. BOOOOO!!! and I don't mean Happy Halloween. ... show more

Worked great for about 2 months then developed the infamous "vertical pink line" display issue. Returned for a refund. Pros: The camera, battery, charging speed, and processing were within spec and overall usability was great for the price. Vanilla android with software updates until 2030. Cons: Wireless charging was unreliable and it did get hot - especially in the sun. The "double tap the back" gesture was incredibly unreliable. Final Thoughts: If it hadn't developed the display issue it would've been a great phone. There's a reason these are renewed. ... show more

I got this Google Pixel 8 that was previously owned and it was listed as Good in the description. Good I think is like the second best rating a used phone can get and states the unit might have some scratches on the body but fully functional. It looks great as far as I can tell and to save that much money and also help keep this phone from finding its way into a landfill makes this a good deal all around. The battery is beginning to show some age though. On a fast charge it can go to 100 % from below 10 % in about an hour. But, if I get into some battery intense gaming it does come off fairly fast. But for surfing the Internet or other low system resource app, the battery does a great job . Overall this was a good value purchase and I recommend this seller to anyone looking to purchase a good phone at a very good price. ... show more
