It's a slim case and protects the phone as a slim case should. I have had this case for over a year and it has done a good job of protecting the phone from minor drops, scratches, and the like. I have not had any major drops, and would not expect this case to protect much from a major drop, but that is the trade-off for the slim design. If you want protection but want to keep the sleek, slim curvature of the Google Pixel 6 Pro then this is definitely the case for you. Made by google so it fits like a glove and offers good corner and camera protection with minimal, barely visible raised bevels. Nice grippy in hand feel and google logo on the back so people know its a pixel. Doesn't even look like there's a case on. I love it so much that this is my 2nd one. The only downside is it doesn't last a super long time, about a year or so. The rubber will start to peel away from the hard protective plastic over time especially the thin points near the cameras. Super glue mitigated the problem for a while but eventually the whole back started 'bubbling' up and just needed to buy a new one. Little pricey but just buy them used - like new for $15 these are more like open box items and you'll get what seems to be a brand new product. Will continue to buy these cases as long as I have my 6 pro. ... show more

I bought this case a little over a year ago. It has served me well during that time. I've dropped the phone a few times and the case has protected it. It was in my Camelback during a hard mountain bike crash and the cover did not protect it, I needed to buy a new screen. I don't think anything would have prevented that issue! A few months ago I noticed the outer layer of the cover near the side buttons had warped. In the last month, the two layers have started to separate badly. This separation allows the cover to warp. I live in AZ. and have left my phone in the car maybe once or twice. It gets hot enough to have the phone automatically shut off, so it is possible that during one of those oversights, I may have helped the damage along. The case is comfortable and does not inhibit the screen at all. Even though my cover ended up like it did, I'm going to assume I was partly to blame and buy another one. If I'm back in a year, you'll know it is the case and not my stupidity. ... show more

I like this case. After about a year of using it, though, the buttons lost something to them - it's hard to describe, but they didn't feel as crisp to press, to the point where I was regularly either accidentally pressing them without realizing it, or accidentally holding them down too long because it didn't feel like they'd pressed in all the way. I like the case enough that I just bought it again after that - which did fix the button issues. I've had the new case for 3 months now with no issues yet. The case is easy enough to remove if that's something you need to do often - though not so easy to remove that it'll ever come off accidentally. I rarely accidentally drop my phone, but it does happen - and I'm not sure how much of it is up to this case vs. luck, but so far my phone is undamaged from falls. That's not to say I'd trust this case to protect it for large drops, though - it's very much just a basic rubberized plastic case. ... show more

So far it's lasted but we haven't hit the second year yet. For something made by Google, I should not have had to buy a second one. However, considering the marginal cost and how useful it is - I'd buy it again.
