The phone is definitely not unlocked. When I put the sim card in, it said I needed to contact Verizon about unlocking the phone. Contacted my friends who work at Verizon and they looked stuff up the phone and from what they could see, they figured the phone hasn't been paid for therefore it not being unlocked. I do no recommend purchasing a phone from this vendor. The phone was NOT unlocked. It was locked to Spectrum Mobile. This was especially aggravating because I missed out on other possible Black Friday deals since they were over by the time I realized this was a PHONY deal.

I was extremely disappointed, I was expecting it to work on T-Mobile because I asked the seller after I made the purchase. He confirmed that it would work. Many of these "refurbished" phones aren't the G020C that are in the description. The G020A is locked to Verizon. I don't know if the sellers aren't aware or just don't care. Battery on this one dropped from 100% to 80% in the 1.5 hours I wasted copying my info onto to it, just to discover that I CANNOT enable it on Republic, or anywhere but Verizon. For the same money you can get a new Galaxy A32 5G. ... show more
