These symbols sound great I bought them for practice to keep from using my expensive Sabians and these symbols sound as good with no cracks or bends yet.

Well they are made of steel, and cymbals are supposed to be made of B20 or B25, they make them out of other metals in order to make them stronger and cheaper. lik B12, B10, B8, and even Brass. But that is where music store's draw the line and only Amazon will dare to make a Cymbal out of steel, to give you a price as low as this. So these cannot sound as good as Cymbals made from better metals, so this really isn't your main ride, probably not your main high hat ether, If you are trying to save tones of Money, A Used Zildjian planet Z would be better for that. However They do ring incredibly well for what they are, and so mixing them in with other cymbals made from better materials can be a nice contrast, I strung them up on a rope combining there musical powers into one and so as a team they sound great contrasted with better metal cymbals. There not great cymbals but for the price, there great. Strung up on a rope with PVC pipe connectors in between, they are supper for the price. They leveled up my Kit verry well. ... show more

    • Frying pans...
Honestly, they sound like frying pans and the China just sounds like you're smacking a garbage can. And the splashes sound soooo goofy and weird. I don't recommend. I don't use them. I'd recommend the red mute cymbals for a good sound!!!
