So I got this to be able to use my A7iii as a stream camera and the one thing I was worried about was the infamous not a genuine sony battery message. Not a deal breaker but would be annoying to deal with waiting for it to appear after a few minutes. Happy to report that this does NOT trigger that warning on the latest 4.01 firmware of the Sony A7iii. I just pop it in, run the cable out the port of the battery hole, and off to the races I go! Got this for my Sony A7iii. Now that I got my stream up and going. I use my Sony A7iii as my webcam. This battery works amazing. Also noticed my Sony A7iii doesn't get as hot then when I use regular batteries. So that was a big plus. I have had no issues at all. My Sony starts up everytime with no issues.
