Amazing impact screen! I got the 9.8 x 7.8 and we have already hit about 1K shots on it. The screen does a great job deadening the impact sound. We honestly only hear the bungee ball cords rub against the steel when the golf ball makes contact with the screen not really the screen itself. I made my own steel frame for the screen. Way cheaper to do than buying some pre-made frame. My frame is way sturdier too! Use a clothing handheld steamer to remove creases. Don’t hesitate on buying this screen it’s well worth it! The overall quality & thickness is fantastic! Would absolutely buy it again!

I recently purchased the Durbles golf simulator impact screen, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. First and foremost, the quality of the screen is outstanding. It's nice and thick, which gives me confidence that it can handle even the hardest shots without any issues. The durability is evident, and I can tell that it will last for a long time. I don't write many reviews. But I'm posting this just in case anyone is in the same position as I was. I originally bought a 'high end' impact screen from one of the well known vendors in the simulator community. Nothing wrong with it, but it started to show considerable wear after about 30,000 shots. That was expected but since I use my simulator regularly this was after only about 6 months use. I didn't want to spend $1000 on an impact screen twice a year, so started investigating cheaper options. After much back and forth, I decided to give this screen a try. For the price, I thought it was a worthwhile risk. Now, I could be wrong but I can't see any difference between the raw material used for the Durbles screen and the original screen I bought. Sound and bounce back pretty much identical. Very quiet and once the tension is adjusted, bounce back of only a few feet. So far, I've hit around 10,000 shots into this screen (including plenty of wedges) and the wear is about the same, too. So far, that's just a little furring where wedges/9 irons hit the screen. I've learned it's not so much the force of impact that causes wear but the higher spin on the ball. The grommets are well fixed and sturdy. It's also nice they include the bungee balls to fix the screen to the frame. You'll need a bungee cord to run through the grommets at the bottom. Yes, the creases take a little time to fall out but that's true of any impact screen. As for quality of image, I only use a HD projector so I can't say if there would be a difference for those folks using 4k. All that to say, I can't see any difference at all between this screen and the supposedly premium options. I'd bet they all buy the poly-blend fabric from the same factories in China. Replacing this screen every 30,000 shots or so is much more palatable. I'll spend a lot more on balls and gloves. 1000% recommend. I just can't believe I was suckered into paying 5-6 times the price first time around. I've already bought a second one of these screens so I have a replacement on hand when the time comes!

I've been building a simulator on a budget and had most items already lying around. An older projector, metal piping, some gym foam tiles, an unused ipad, lights, moving blankets, just about everything but the hitting mat, the screen and material for the enclosure. A local tent/tarp manufacturer had some scrap that I got in 35" rolls for pennies on the doallar, and the chain link fence store had fastener. i bought a cheap mat that I will replace down the road and that left the screen.... I did a lot of research and decided on this one. It's now installed and so far I'm VERY happy. It seems really quiet (I hung moving blankets about 5 inches behind it and put another blanket on the wall 6 inches beyond that. The screen is thick and has multiple layers. I can't speak to the longevity, but I seems like it should hold up. I got the 9.8 X 13 so I'd have lots of room to swing (and miss) should be able to play both lefties and righties right down the middle.

I’m about 500 shots in and this screen is holding up beautifully. The included bungee connectors allowed simple installation, as well as excellent shot absorption. My setup is in the garage and I still use my garage for parking vehicles. The bungee connectors allow for simple curtain-like sliding out of the way when I convert my garage back its normal function. Well constructed and well worth the price.
