Unhappy with the first screen I bought because there weren’t enough grommets to secure it and it was extremely loud. Bought this screen as a replacement and it’s incredible! Super high quality and very quiet!

I purchased this for a garage golf simulator, and I cant say enough about this product. This combined with the 1" golf netting made 66% of the capital investment in my simulator. Between this, the netting (errant balls), and golf mat. This is all you need. Over and above the simulator monitor. Then only clubs, and balls are needed.

I've been building a simulator on a budget and had most items already lying around. An older projector, metal piping, some gym foam tiles, an unused ipad, lights, moving blankets, just about everything but the hitting mat, the screen and material for the enclosure. A local tent/tarp manufacturer had some scrap that I got in 35" rolls for pennies on the doallar, and the chain link fence store had fastener. i bought a cheap mat that I will replace down the road and that left the screen.... I did a lot of research and decided on this one. It's now installed and so far I'm VERY happy. It seems really quiet (I hung moving blankets about 5 inches behind it and put another blanket on the wall 6 inches beyond that. The screen is thick and has multiple layers. I can't speak to the longevity, but I seems like it should hold up. I got the 9.8 X 13 so I'd have lots of room to swing (and miss) should be able to play both lefties and righties right down the middle.

Having set up simulators multiple times, I"m always in search of the next and better way to project on an impact screen. Had some good ones where canvas is grommeted through to shipping blankets and other solutions but this is pretty slick. The material is synthetic so I had my doubts with high spin rate balls .... sometimes synth materials will melt when impacted with very high rotation golf balls at high velocity (slice or hook with a driving iron, extreme backspin with a low handicap golfer and some wedges or high loft clubs). So far no permanent marks. Most challenging part of this material is getting it steamed flat but it has great weight and response to impacts and looks great for the projector once you get the wrinkles steamed. One caveat..if you get it very wet you will leave a water line mark if you don't get the whole thing wet...this water line will be invisible on projection but if you have any dust around and the water collects the dust expect a water mark you'll be chasing with a steamer I have this installed with some harbor freight shipping blankets backing it to help with dampening and have hit some 170mph balls and some high loft clubs into it with great success. The huge bag it comes in is a bonus but because I'm doing permanent installs this became a great laundry bag for the camper. I can't say how this performs without a shipping blanket backer but I've learned that more dampening is better than less in building these so my recommendation is some shipping blankets to help absorb

Screen is well made and EXTREMELY quiet. I had been hitting into a net and my Rapsodo seemed to have trouble reading the ball speed and spin. The large white background immediately corrected that issue.
