I was very excited when I received this rangefinder. The case and rangefinder itself look high quality with the materials and functionality. I like the textures and materials on the rangefinder, which make it feel expensive. However, I was disappointed with the overall performance. It has a good view of the flag, but the locking mechanism did not find the flag as quickly as other rangefinders I have used. it takes a long time for the vibration to lock in which reduces my confidence for the actual distance. For the price, I would expect the vibration locking system to work better.

I recently purchased the MiLESEEY 656Ys Range Finder with Flag-Lock feature. It has a 6X Laser Magnification and uses Pulse Vibration to confirm the lock on the target. It has an incredible 0.3s Fast Focus Scan, and it also has a Slope ON/Off switch which makes it tournament-approved. The device feels Professional, and I have to say, I am impressed! After taking the device out to the golf course and testing it, I found it highly functional, compact, and easy to use. One of its standout features for me is having the exact distance to the green, which is a game-changer and has already helped me improve my game. The pulse vibration and fast focus scan features made using the rangefinder an enjoyable and seamless experience. Found this hard to lock on the pin. Would get distances to trees in background quite often. Takes quite a bit of time to get reading when it does lock on the pin. Have friends who have name brand rangefinders that seem to work much better

This rangefinder works great! It very easily detects distance, and it can read that in both yards or meters (you can select which one through a button on the top). It can also detect slope (you can toggle this via a slider switch on the side) It reads both slope and distance accurately and I have been impressed so far with its abilities, it does everything but read wind speed! I find this especially useful to both understand the distance and slope allowing me to select which club I use with educated reasoning behind it, as well as understanding more about the hole I’m playing to influence my swing. Pros: Accurately reads distance, and slope Slope toggle and Yard/Meter toggle Turns off after a few seconds of no new readings Cons: None! In the end I am very satisfied with this rangefinder. It can do anything I’ve needed from it and I would absolutely recommend it!

It took a while to get this to review because I use this in a unusual way. Not for golf but for measuring the length of large display signs in my business. Usually signs are 10 and 30 feet long and up about 15 to 20 feet. Which meant to 2 people and up ladders and measuring with a tape measure. After a few tests I can come within about 2 inches of accuracy at this distance. I use a somewhat simple "triangulation". I say that in quotes because technically it is not real triangulation. I'll explain. I stand in one corner of the sign and measure to that corner, then measure to the far corner. Subtract the 2 numbers and that is the length of the sign. Same for the height. The device has a approx 18 inch accuracy (same in centimeters) at a range of say 300+ yards, for golfing! I get a pretty accurate size on a sign that is 30 feet long and 20 feet from me. Which is better accuracy than measuring climbing ladders and tape measure. 1 or 2 inches inches or so on 30 feet is fine. I find for some reason measuring in inches works out better. You don't need to worry about any slight hand shake in this method as long as you stay in the same spot and do a few measurements, then take the average. I do wish they make a screw hole to use a tripod though. That would be even more accurate on first measurement. But so far it has worked great and saves climbing ladders. Comes with a nice case, so it's easy to carry on your belt. Battery life has been good also. I haven't re-charged it yet. And of course that's easy enough as most vehicles have USB charging ability. I think for the money it's a pretty good value in laser range finders. I'm sure if you are a golfer it has extra benefits. On thing it doesn't do it REAL triangulation. Some more expensive models do. But if it's not absolutely necessary, this is a good value.

For a while I have been looking into purchasing a rangefinder to assist with golfing, and the Mileseey 656y is just perfect. Its Compact, so easy to store and carry round in its own pouch with hook, that just attaches straight to my golf bag. Looks so sleek in black metal with so many great features including flag lock so the flag can be located and locked in and vibrates too when locked so know you're on the target! The exact distance measurement helps so much with the game, as well as the ability to toggle on and off the slope adjusted distance. The fact that it comes with an eye safety certificate with FDA for the class 1 laser and lifetime customer support shows the quality and standard of the product. Feels like you are buying a luxury item for a lower price. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a Golf Rangefinder based on my experience and the lower than average price point.
