These are great training aids to use while at the driving range or golf simulator range. While the putting label seems like overkill as you can usually see if you are putting the ball correctly in real-time, using these on irons and drivers really give you insight why your ball might not being going as straight as it might look or sound to you when you make contact with the ball. I'd definitely make sure the surface of the club you are using is clean and free of debris when applying. I'd also recommend using these after warming up and you are ready to hit for accuracy so you get a more accurate gauge of how you are striking the ball. Because, for obvious reasons, you can only use these after a few hits, you might want to use these towards the end of practice on a variety of clubs so you aren't spending too much time removing and reapplying labels. Overall, a great training aid that really gives you the facts of how you are striking the ball.

First- I really suck at golf. My previous golf experience always include a windmill and a clown face. Learning real golf has been challenging. Basically I am Mr. inconsistent, some good hits followed by bad. Thought these would help, and they did. I used the Putter one on my hybrids and found I was making contact to the shaft side of center. Same on my drivers. I found them useless on irons, leaving just a faint make at the very bottom. These are all from a range off of carpet. I was expecting a color change, but it seems the ball strike compresses the sticker denoting impact. I found the more hits the harder it is to remove the sticker, but not a real issue.

I used to use the foot fungal spray on my clubs to see striking point, but these tapes work way better. The spray would have to be replaced each strike to make sure I was hitting it in the same spot, and it wouldn't always show up super clearly. That isn't an issue with this tape. I can see where on the club I'm hitting the ball with each swing. They go on and come off easily and make for a great training aid!

Full Disclosure: I received this product at no cost for review through Amazon Vine. Additional Disclosure: I am a beginner golfer. Your results may differ. I thought this sounded like such a great idea. I put them on my entire club set and went out to the driving range to try them out. First of all, it is not terribly effective to use this product on real grass (with mud below) as I did at our driving range. I ended up with a lot of mod on the face of the club which I had to clean off to see anything. It worked fairly well on my driver, which I was hitting off a tee. The irons though just got a bunch of mud on them, and I could not really see a distinctive mark, especially as I tended to hit off the bottom of the club face. I do not see how you could get the ball up to the target on the club face without taking out deep divot, and certainly not off a mat. I tried tapping a few puts with my putter, even strong solid puts, but got no mark on the face, so I do not see the point of it for that purpose. To top it off, it is a messy affair to remove from the face of the clubs, especially if there have been several hits off the edge. And if you get it wet, it is even worse. So it gets 3 stars for being a good idea, but it sure did not work well for me.

The yellow-green marks were from the grass, but the gray mark is where I hit the ball (yep, I'm quite pleased with that shot, too). These stickers will help me get ready for the season.

These stickers are a great tool, and I think a great value at about $13 for 100 sets. The measurements are accurate. These are way cheaper than golf lessons. I read the reviews, and think waiting until you have warmed up to apply them is a great idea! Definitely best to clean your clubs first, I recommend using some alcohol wipes to ensure the best adhesion. Same for cleaning and residual adhesive (alcohol wipes). Excellent for yourself or as a gift!

I first tried the impact tape with my putter. Putts less than 10-15 feet did not mark the impact tape. Long putts did show how I was putting, which wasn't bad. I found I was repetitively hitting too high with an iron. I look forward to learning more about how I am hitting and improving my swing.

This is an excellent training aid for golf that helps you to see exactly where on the golf club face you are making contact with a ball. The marks that it leaves are clearly visible. It does get a bit cluttered after several hits, so you'll need a handful of these to use for each practice session. The tape is very thin and can be difficult to peal off afterwards, but if you just peal it off slowly, its not an issue. Any residue can be removed easily otherwise.
