I bought a used Miele Calima C3, it was missing a wand. I could have gotten a non OEM wand for far less money but I chose to go with the OEM version and I will say that the build quality is great. It fits perfectly and does the job. What I like about the telescopic part of the wand is that it allows for people of differing heights to be able to adjust how long they want the wand to be. Fixed length wands like I have on my Samsung Jetstorm doesn't lend itself to being used as well as this telescopic wand with the Miele allows for. ... show more

I bought this one to replace the one that came with the vacuum cleaner 5 years ago and this new one lasted just 5 months which i dont think this corresponds to the level of quality this brand takes credit for. Fits the Miele C1 that I bought it for perfectly, but $80 is outrageous for something made of plastic that's just going to break again in a year or two. Had tried a metal one (cheaper--only $30) that fit properly but the telescoping button didn't work. If you use it once or twice a week at home, and you're gentle, it'll last a long time. I do cleaning for a living and it usually lasts a couple of years, but the plastic always breaks--both near the top where there's a button, and then the bottom where the attachment goes, ad it constantly has to be replaced. They should either redesign it with metal or lower the price. I only keep buying it because it's a tax write-off, and would settle for buying a metal one that doesn't telescope as well if I was using it in my home. ... show more
