The retriever takes some getting used to as my previous one worked while the movable part was closed. Tap it on the app and it would spring open to trap the ball. Fine for the price, and fine for the rough, but getting the ball out of muddy water is a little tricky. You have to make sure the latch is flipped AND it sometimes I pushed the ball deeper into the mud. It could have just been me… When the company found out that this didn’t work well for me, they graciously sent me a retriever that better suited my needs and it works great! Thank you! ... show more
