Why I didn’t get a golf umbrella eons ago, I’ve got no idea. I just got it today, so I can’t say it’ll work for me or not. The umbrella comes in a sleeve that has a connected strap so you can carry it on your shoulder or with your hand. The sleeve has a velcro fastener at the top and bottom, making it very simple to roll it back up. The end of the sleeve has a pull drawstring to keep it closed tightly. You press a button on the bottom and it opens it. When you’re done using it, you just pull down in the middle of the inside and it slides back down to a close. It’s very convenient! I opened it and placed it in front of the sun to check for holes and I didn’t see any. Now, my dog and I can go for walks in the rain and it may be big enough to cover us both. This umbrella is very nice for the money. I got this for $30 and let me say that I've bought umbrellas more expensive than these. First of all, this umbrella is very large - 68 inches wide. Secondly, it is dual layered, which is very nice. It does what it says it will do. It is made for the wind and the rain. It also comes in a variety of colors which is a bonus. I recommend this for people that like large umbrellas and I've received compliments on it. Would definitely buy again! ... show more

Got a couple of these umbrellas now. Ordered one last year when we realized we needed a larger coverage. Sometimes our kids would be under an umbrella with us. Plus with this one we could cover us in our camp chair at a baseball game and have it sitting on the chair and not really have to hold it. We were happy with it so this year we ordered a couple more. Did have it flip completely inside out one time in a pretty serious storm that popped up at a game. Wind gusts were pretty crazy. 30 mph..? I popped it back right side out and all is well. This size is perfect for 2 normal size people. The vent at the top also provide good circulation during windier than normally anticipated weather. At 6'2", using regular sized models in the rain, always resulted in my shoes & pants legs (halfway up between my ankle and knee) being soaked. Now, only the front of my shoes get wet during heavy downpours. I like it a lot!!

The umbrella seems pretty sturdy, had it in a bit of wind the other day and it held well. I got the largest size so I could cover both me and my dog on walks. The size makes it a little cumbersome for walking as it becomes a wrist exercise to keep it steady. It’s a sturdy umbrella as on a walk in the wind and rain, it didn’t deform nor have a wobble in the handle, but that does mean it was catching the wind. I like how easy this umbrella goes full coverage and take down is very easy as well. I would of given this item a 5 star but mine had black spots on the white portions of the fabric from bugs that were smashed or trapped while this umbrella was made. The spots won't come out.
