This is the first wetsuit I have ever worn or purchased. The zipper works smoothly and the product fit as described. I used this for a trip to the Clearwater springs area of Florida to swim in some of the Clearwater springs down there. The water temperature is a constant 74° so if you want to stay in for a while you need to be warm and comfortable. This wetsuit did the trick. It adds a lot of buoyancy to your body so it's hard to snorkel and dive underwater to see fish but what you give up in diving you gain in warmth and comfort. ... show more

I have used this shorty suit for the summer only in my local outdoor pool that is part of my condo complex. Because it is outside in New England it tends to be cold due to heat loss at night. The suit is constructed very well. A strong zipper that works well and the suit has held up after many uses. I'm in my 70s and the cut is for a more athletic body allowing for more larger arms and thighs. It has worked well for me and I recommend it. ... show more

I have purchased a lot of shorty wet suits for playing water volleyball. I play in a salt water pool that has chlorine. Over time the pool conditions eventually discolor and ruin the wet suit. This is the first time I purchased a Gold Fin. I noticed my favorite brand O'Neill only came in 2 milometer thickness for the shorty; 2 milometers doesn't keep me warm. Gold Fin was the only shorty that was 3 milometers and the price was significantly lower than O'Neill. I have playing with it for a number of months. It has faded some but seems to be holding up quite well. I have recommended to my friends. I will buy another one once this one is no longer working for me. ... show more
