This thing is big, bulky and ugly; it's the chunkiest watch I've ever worn. I've rated it four stars because the most important thing in a watch for me is the display. And this watch has a display that is close to perfect for me. It's large and very readable, with no extra gadgetry and trivial info cluttering up the screen. It shows me all the information I really need, just the time down to seconds, and the day and date. The info is arranged in a simple and logical manner. The display lights up completely and brightly in the dark. The controls were very easy to figure out without going through the instruction manual. If you just need a basic timepiece and don't mind a bulky thing strapped to your wrist, this watch has an excellent, very legible display. I've only used the watch a few months, so I can't comment on things like durability and water resistance. So far it's held up well to the daily knocks and bumps I've put it through; I'll update the review if any issues come up. But for the price you could probably buy several of them and just cycle through them as they wear out. ... show more

Like to buy this in a SOLID RED color if the seller/manufacturer is reading this. Old school watch updated with large screen and bright beautiful blue LED back light. This is a basic everyday work watch but good watch. I own several different colors. Like these so much I wear them casually daily even not working. Like the optional hourly chime feature. Don't constantly look at my watch usually it's my cell phone. So when I hear the beep I know another hour has transpired. Makes it easier to know what time it is without looking. If you want a solid H20 resist heavy duty watch and don't want to spend a Benjamin this is it. For around 15 USD if it does break I'll just buy another. Again I own several of these and all are high quality with out the high price. I'd actually prefer to wear these watches over my Swiss/Name brand high value watches. This watch is very comfortable to wear and the band confirms easily to your wrist. ... show more

1st post-This is a great inexpensive watch. I'm 67 and was having a hard time seeing my old Casio's time at night, the numbers are so small and the light kind of washed out the display making it hard to read the time. So the much bigger numbers and display along with the excellent back lighting on this new watch really make this a perfect watch for me. I don't need anything more than the features provided with this watch, excellent across the board for my needs, cool color too! (Teal-ish) CURRENT UPDATE - Sorry can't recommend this watch any longer. Just a couple of months and then it wouldn't keep the time or date, I changed to a new battery and it still wouldn't hold the settings to proper time and date. You get what you pay for here, not a good or reliable watch. JUNK! $17 garbage! ... show more

I got this for my day to day watch plus use it while camping and at work. It gets banged around a bit and is out in all kinds of weather. I've had no issue with it. The band is a very good size. Normally I have to find a replacement band, but not with this watch.
