This was a pretty nice coat. It fit well and was even a little roomy (but not too roomy). It was warm enough without restricting movement and it was waterproof for the light rain we experienced. My only complaint is that the faux fur lining makes this a less versatile coat. It would be perfect if that lining zipped out to make it a little bit of a lighter coat. ... show more

I ordered this jacket for my boyfriend in the 3XL size that he usually wears. The jacket is true to size with a relaxed fit. It is a well made coat but not the most stylish. It's more functional than fashionable. The furry fleece in the removable hood looks somewhat feminine in my opinion. He plans on wearing the coat without the hood so it's not a major issue. The hood does have elastic drawstrings and tabs that attach with velcro under the chin to keep out wind chill. The length of the coat is a little short. Not too short as far as sizing goes, just shorter in length giving it a less stylish appearance. The sleeves are elasticized with additional velcro tab closures for a snug fit to lock out the wind when needed. The coat has 4 pockets, all with zipper closures. One on each side at a good length to tuck your hands or store your gloves, one inner pocket and one outer pocket on the left chest area. The front zipper has an elastic tab for easy pull while wearing gloves and there are snap buttons at the bottom and collar of the jacket to close the wind flap that covers the zipper. The coat is completely lined with soft black fur like fleece on the body and a smoother polyester fabric quilting in the arms, making it easy to get arms into the sleeves. It feels sufficiently thick to keep you plenty warm as long as you don't live in frigid temps and you're outdoors for extended periods. There's plenty of room for adding thicker under layers if additional warmth is necessary. Overall, it's a well made coat if you're not persnickety about style. It seems a little overpriced and much like a coat you would find at a big box retailer such as Walmart. I previously ordered the exact same coat in a womens fit for myself at less than half the cost of the mens version. I'd say the price I paid for mine was more befitting of a coat of this style and construction. I would not have paid $70 for this coat if not receiving it free of charge (but not free of tax liability!) through the Vine program. However, at the time of this review there is a 50% off coupon, bringing the coat well into the range of being fairly priced for the quality. ... show more
