This review is for the GAOFAN HOUR Gold Watch for Women (Gold Silver) My 21-year-old daughter had a similar watch on her wish-list, so I was pleased to be able to select this item for review. It really is an elegant watch. The gold color does not appear 'fake' and the silver watch face is really pretty and offsets it nicely. The small jewels at 3/6/9 make it easy to read while also adding an upscale touch. This really is a minimalist design that dresses up nicely. It does not reflect exact minutes or seconds, but this is more of a dress-up piece than for timing 40-yard dashes. As for functionality, the watch arrived working out of the box (yay!). It was easy to set the time. It does not have any alarm features, which is normal for a watch like this. The adjustable bracelet is IP plated stainless steel, which is known for durability, and the back is stainless as well. The fold-over clasp was easy to fit. This watch is water RESISTANT, not waterproof, so do not wear it swimming or in the shower. But if it gets splashed while washing your hands, it should be fine. One thing I do not understand are the other reviews saying the band is not adjustable. Unlike many watches, this actually includes a tool and video on how to adjust the wearing length of the band, so you can adjust the fit to your satisfaction. The profile of the watch is very low, and the watch face and band are narrow and bracelet-like. Overall, this is a really pretty and stylish watch. There are several options to choose from, but we liked the gold/silver version the best, but certainly choose the option that suits your personal style the best!
