    • I own this instrument but did not purchase from Amazon.
If you're looking for a fretless uke bass this is a great one. Keep in mind that this one is electric only (not that you'd be able to hear an acoustic uke bass if you're playing with any other instruments unless it were also plugged in). If you're coming from a standard fretless electric basses the scale length on this bass is much shorter than a regular bass so its good that it has clear, easy to see cheat lines where the frets would typically be. The scale length actually seems a bit longer than most uke basses which helps. You've got a volume, treble and bass knob. The treble gets a bit clickity when it's around 60% or higher but overll it's very easy to get a nice tone out of, sounds a bit like an upright due to the rubber strings. Speaking of which, since rubber is way more flexible than metal, expect to have to turn the tuners about double what you would on a normal bass (with metal strings) when you tune it or change the strings. It's a good and sounding instrument overall, has good build quality and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a more 'professional' uke bass. I prefer it over the Kala brand models. ... show more

    • Ok bass, bee-are restocking fee!
heavy for its size and didn’t like the action of the strings and the tonality, not bad, just not for me. returned BUT I DID NOT KNOW-THAT. GEAR TREE charged $130.50 for a RESTOCKING FEE, which amounted to about 30% when I only had it for 2 weeks. I see that the new listing are from a different.
