I got this to use as an everyday mattress, I let is settle all day after I opened it and it seems comfy enough to sleep on top of a tile floor, even sleeping on your side. I weigh 167 but I don't think my partner who weighs closer to 240 would be as comfy as me. They might need a thicker one if it's not on top of carpet. I have had some low back, si joint issues and I noticed I would be comfy just laying on the floor or a firmer mattress... I think this mattress will be perfect and even help me feel better, I sleep on regular mattress right now. ... show more

I have a box truck which I use to transport goods over the road and that's the only mattress that would fit to my custom made sleeper and it really works. Sometimes I forget I sleep in a truck so comfy this mattress is. Will buy again

If you plan on sleeping on this, I would look for something at least 4 inches thick. This mattress just isn't thick enough to support an average sized person comfortably. It might be OK for a child who doesn't know better... Or OK for short term activities, but not for sleeping. The 2.5 inches of standard soft foam plus a half inch of memory foam just isn't enough to support much weight. Note, a half inch of memory foam compresses to almost nothing. I'm not even sure why it's there. I doubt 1 inch would be much better. So you're really just sitting or laying on 2.5 inches of foam. Your chair cushions are probably as thick or thicker than this and how long do they keep you comfortable? I love the look and design of this product and the quality seems decent, but the practicality and comfort of this mattress for anything but short activities or really small people isn't there. I'm not sure how this mattress scored so many high reviews. For me it was a total disappointment. I'm currently figuring out how I'm going to return this because it's impossible to fit back into the box now that it is no longer vacuum sealed. ... show more

I'm confused..I have two of these. One is the 31"--yes, comfy, sturdy, and 3 inches thick! Love it. Just a bit too big for my needs. So I purchased the 25" one, and it's not the same quality at all!- It's flimsy, maybe 2-21/2 thick, memory foam-definitely not, and "1/2 inch of the gel infused cooling" part, not even close, it's paper thin. huh???? ... show more
