My husband and I used the 6 Person GoHimal Tent at an astronomy camping trip last weekend. It's a double layer tent that is waterproof and windproof and seems quite sturdy. We found it quick and easy to put up and take down and the inside is very roomy with plenty of space for our two air mattresses, a comfortable chair, our bags and some equipment. The zipper openings on the three windows and door worked very smoothly and there was even a small zipper access area in one of the tent corners so that you could thread an electric line through to the inside and then zip it up so no bugs or water would get in. The flap on the screen windows can be opened to allow breezes to ventilate the tent through the screen and my husband enjoyed looking at the stars late at night through one of the screen windows. This tent was very easy to set up, less than 10 minutes mostly by myself. We set it up in the backyard before taking it camping to make sure there were no tears and to get a general idea of the size. Overall, it is a very good starter tent especially for the price and quality, it looks very sturdy. I hope it will hold up well over our next several trips. -Easy to set up -Screened patio is great for gear storage -Can fit more than 6, it's a big room -Looks great, good overall quality. I got the tent yesterday and to start with, very pleased with just the packaging. Since it's a tent and any little tear or cut can ruin the trip, they took their time to pack it correctly so as to not get any unnecessary tears or rips. Then, upon viewing it out of the plastic wrap, it seems to be heavy duty, yet light to carry quite a distance. All in all, I'm looking forward to setting up and using another great product from this company! ... show more

I love this tent so much it has everything I need for the conditions that im currently in. Texas has had some very tropical weather so this tent withstands weather very well! It was very reasonably priced and was fun to setup with the family. Its a champ.

We haven't used this in the wild yet, but the trial run was impressive. Fairly simple and straightforward instructions (video was helpful!), material is quality, and packing up was a breeze. It's definitely not do-able by one adult, but with two it should be easy enough. Would recommend to others!

Updated Review: this is a light duty tent that goes up easily. I had an issue with the metal ends falling off of two of the fiberglass poles and one of the fastening hooks broke during first setup. After customer service found out about the issues with the tent they sent a replacement.
