We have 3 dogs and the grass in our backyard could use some help right now. So between those two factors we were basically having to vacuum dirt our of our bed every night. Definitely one of the last things you want to do before finally getting into bed at the end of the day. So when I came across this I thought maybe having it over the bed throughout the day would keep some of the dirt out of the bed. According to my husband it is the best thing I've ever bought! It truly works wonders. Our dogs go in and out of the house multiple times a day and are in and out of the bed all day also. We keep this cover on from the time we get up in the morning until we go to bed and all the dirt collects on top of it. I bought under mattress straps to attach the bottom of the cover (other side clips to the fitted sheet at the top.) so at the end of the day we just flip it down off the bed, all the dirt hits the floor instead of our sheets, and it's easy to flip back up over the bed in the morning. Our robot vacuum comes to get the dirt off the floor and no one has to vacuum the bed!!! Seriously, seriously a game changer for us. The water resistance is an amazing feature too! Dirt + rain = mud. This has saved our sheets from muddy paws many a times! And because it's absorbent the mud dries to loose vacuumable dirt rather than stuck on mud that needs to be scrubbed or full out washed. The water proofing also allows us to let our dogs get on the bed when they're wet, which they love! Our boy likes to rub his body all over to try and dry off and we'd never let him do it on the bed, for obvious reasons, but now he can run and rub and be crazy to his hearts content and we still have a dry bed underneath. Our great dane gets cold coming out of the shower so she likes to lay in bed under blankets after, still a perfectly dry bed for us! The only downsides are the lack of durability and the secondary color. I bought the yellow cover and the lighter side is such an awful hospital yellow. It looks like a puppy pad. Would never have that side up. But the darker side is the color I really wanted so all is well just no changing shades for us. Now back to durability, or lack there of. We do have a tear or two in the main area of the cover. They aren't all the way through, just one layer. But like I said, we have 3 big dogs and they put this thing to the test so I'm not too upset about the little tears. I am however disappointed that the lining around the edge is ripping off already. We have it clipped under the bed and it's ripping right where the dogs jump on to the bed so I'm sure that's why but still disappointing. I would definitely buy again but would also consider trying another brand that might be a bit more durable.

I have a large senior dog who sleeps on the couch and has accidents (daily) when she sleeps. This works wonders. It is water resistant the liquid just beads up and sits. Bc of this I throw a towel down so it doesn't get all over the place when she moves. To quick clean I spray an upholstery/laundry cleaner and wipe. I read all kinds of bad reviews after washing...I've washed mine a few times now. I wash in cold and line dry and it still works like new. I'm not sure how it will hold up in heat maybe that's the problem others had I won't chance it. I've had this for almost two months now wanted to wait to make sure it held up before reviewing. It is definitely worth a buy. It has saved my couch and me from pulling it apart and cleaning it all the time.

We have a wobbly cat, who occasionally has accidents outside the box. In an effort to save our floor, we put this outside his litter box. He poops right on it instead of the floor and it’s so easy to clean up. Paper towels and a quick spray clean. We bought a second one they’re so great! Also, he’s peed on here several times too and it’s a perfect little pee puddle. It has never leaked through! Even recently, after being washed many times it still has maintained some sort of water proofing. We wash and dry each one once per week on a quick cycle and they’ve held up great, no rips, unraveling, shrinking.

Purchased to help keep fur off the furniture. They are light weight as advertised and depending on where and how placed they may not be large enough to cover both the seating and back areas without the back slipping down. I used 4 large safety pins on the back cushion area of my 78" Herculon covered couch (which is a very study fabric) and safety pins may not be best for other fabrics. With pinning, cover is large enough to tuck behind and under seat cushions. After washing/drying they remain as when delivered. Thankfully cannot evaluate water resistance as it has not been tested.

This is my second time buying the large sized cover to protect my couch when my large mixed breed snuggles up here. Rather than running them horizontally across all three seats of my couch, I decided to use two covers vertically to cover the seat and back of the two seats my dog takes up so I can sit on the uncovered part of the couch. I love the color choices. The beige actually goes well with my actual couch. I didn’t buy these with waterproofing in mind, but it’s a nice feature when my big guy is a bit drooly. I haven’t washed mine yet, but I’m happy with my purchase so far.

I bought a new sofa and decided to try this pet cover (after using a different brand for years). I bought two for the sectional and one for my bed. I hadn't even had it for a week when my 4-month old puppy had an accident (diarrhea) in the middle of the night. I wiped it up with paper towels and immediately threw it in the washing machine. The diarrhea didn't soak through to the bed and there was no trace of it after I washed the cover. I liked the cover so much, I bought three more!

I love the different sizes so I was able to cover the seats of my 2 piece sectional sofa. I also love the light tan as it matches quite well and now my sofa is protected from my dog or spills. I would give full 5 stars but these things are not 100% Waterproof....I'm not sure what it is, like when you wash it the waterproof coating starts to wear off or if calling these water resistant is more the actual bc initially the liquid does bead up but eventually if it's not cleaned up in time the liquid does start to soak it but still much better protection then nothing or a regular fabric. I would just call it water resistant.
