The media could not be loaded. Honestly, there’s not a single thing I dislike about this product. I had bought a dark blue dragon initially, and, quite frankly, the reviews complaining about their dogs “destroying it within the first hour of having it” are probably from people with extremely high energy dogs that are resorting to destructive behavior due to lack of proper exercising. This might not always be the case, but proper daily routines will help. That blue dragon I purchased lasted up until last week, giving it a life of about 5 or 6 months since my dog got it. She doesn’t aim to destroy her toys, but she’s 50 lbs and we play tug of war often as well as her doing the crazy shaking-it-violently technique. The squeaker died the first week, but the rest was nearly indestructible it seemed. Now, I just bought the chameleon as well as another dragon, and the quality seems just as promising as the first! We got a puppy a couple weeks ago, and he is just as excited as her to play with them. These toys will be a staple for them for as long as I’m able to repurchase them. The puppy is full German Shepherd and the adult is primarily Pit Bull, Boxer with small traces of Shepherd and Chao Chao. These are sturdy breeds, and goes to show this product is fit for all types! Always buy GoDog toys/toys with chewguard for my dog as they are the only ones she doesn't destroy; however, this particular item is either defective or isn't made like most GoDog toys. Within 5 minutes of playing with it, it had ripped down the seam.

My dog is a chewer of toys and had high hopes for this brand. My dog had this ripped apart in less than 3 min after I gave it to him. I wrote Go Dog and they will not stand behind their chew guard items. Complete waste of money as I threw it away and the dozens of pieces of it that were all over my living room not even 10 minutes after I received it. ... show more

    • Toy was loved and destroyed quickly
Upon receipt the toy seemed pretty thick. However, puppy destroyed it within 5 days. Tore a hole in a leg, started pulling out stuffing, and even got the squeaker out of there (which was in a mesh bag). He really did love the toy, but unfortunately it could not stand-up to his wee mighty jaws. (For reference he is 40 lbs, a little over 5 months old, and a husky mix). Thanks- ... show more

    • Santa brought a Gecko
I absolutely love go dog toys, but even better so does my dog. She got the Gecko for Christmas and is a very happy girl. Without the durability of GoDog designed fabric toys usually last less then a day, but these toys last so long and are so cute we have a zoo. Throw them in the washer/air dry is my preference. Sometimes I do an start dry in the dryer. So far none have shrunk. Occasionally the threads on the seams may break. Wonderful toys for your fur baby. ... show more

    • Cute, but not durable against a motivated chewer
I gave this to my pup - 1 year old lab/boxer who loves to destroy the toys, scalp the fuzzy things being rugs, couch cover, etc. - and within 15 minutes its nose was gone and there was fluff all over the floor. Our little guy found the weak spot and got the tail split open within a week. We normally let him chew on it till he gets half the stuffing out, or when I'm tired of picking it up. Normally a big fan of GoDog, but not this model.

While overall this is the most durable brand i’ve come across (my dog is the undefeated champion of destroying new chew toys within minutes, this brand usually makes it through a couple months), there are a few toys that have “limbs or elongated appendages” that don’t stand up to the challenge LOL, the Gecko was unfortunately one of them;) ... show more
