I bought the turquoise glasses and they are truly turquoise in color. The glasses are simply stunning. The glass is not super thin. It’s a nice weight. I have not washed these in the dishwasher. They are too pretty to take a chance on ruining. Very pleased with my purchase and recommend if you’ve looked for a glass that is a true turquoise color. The distributor has clearly learned how to ship these glasses. Some of the early reviews complained of breakage, but my four glasses arrived intact in a sufficiently-insulated box. They are a lovely shape, but, as observed by some of the reviewers, the bowl is large. I am a small woman with small hands and I will have to handle them carefully. I've decided it's worth it to take a little bit of extra care, since the glasses are so pretty. Given they're crystal, these glasses are a bargain. As to their thinness, which some people have complained of, that is the point of crystal. Crystal is thinner but stronger than glass because of the minerals which make it denser. I've never put my other crystal wine glasses in the dishwasher (hand washing is usually recommended for crystal) but, because these are so inexpensive, I'll try it. As an aside, I wish these glasses were available in a slightly smaller size. Since they're not, I'll be happy with these. ... show more

A sophisticated shape. Clear glass, uniform shape, generous capacity, and a thin rim. Definitely enhanced our table. Packing was a bit basic, but miraculously they arrived safely. Perhaps a little delicate for daily use by kids, but perfect for an adult table.
