The ZLX 11'6 has quickly become my go-to for weekend paddling. The extra width makes it noticeably stable without sacrificing the speed and tracking you want on longer distance tours — it cuts through the water cleanly and holds a straight line better than boards I've used at a similar price point. Inflation is quicker than expected and the board is impressively rigid once fully pumped up — feels nothing like the floppy inflatables you might picture. Rolling it up and tossing it in the car is a game changer compared to hauling a hardboard. We've recently gotten into paddle boarding and decided on this touring version for our son. The pointed shape is more similar to our tandem ocean kayak than the rounded shape of other SUP boards. This helps it cut through the water easier with less effort, which is important considering its wide profile. I have another ZLX paddle board, so I am familiar with the quality of this brand. This has high-quality components throughout the construction. There are several grips in the middle and on the end for handling, plus hooks along the board for attaching accessories. I really appreciate that the hooks are metal, not plastic, and the grips are woven and thick. It includes a tripod mount for GoPros and bungee cords at the front and back that can handle a good amount of cargo. All over the directions, it warns against using an air compressor, and that damage from that would invalidate the 3-year warranty. (That's a good length warranty!) After previously doing it all manually, we decided to go half and half on it using the air compressor until it's a solid shape, then huffing it pumping manually until we reach that 12-13 psi sweet spot. It's definitely a workout and has quite a bit of resistance at the end. This is a pretty wide board, and you can fit a lot on it. Easily a parent, kid, and possibly a small pet. I'm really thankful that we got paddle boards with the optional fin in the middle since it makes the board much more stable. However, the product manual notes that you can go about 30% faster if you don't use it. I guess we might try that after we get more experience on the board. Overall, the accessories are all great. We’ve had no issue with the pump/gauge or the paddle. I love that they are in the same color palette as the board itself. We have the Marine Teak color, and I think it's very aesthetic with the teal, orange, and dark wood grain. We have only inflated it to about 12.5 psi, and it feels like actual wood, so I can't imagine how much harder it gets at 15 psi. One thing to note is that it is not recommended to leave this inflated when not in use, so plan on getting comfortable inflating and deflating it. I'm really impressed with the quality and value of these SUPs, and I can't wait to get this on the lakes this summer! I will update this review if there are any unexpected issues.

I love the look, the color, the numerous tie-down points and the cargo netting on both ends. First time out we set up near a vault toilet so I didn't realize it was the board that had a funny smell to it until after the smell followed me out into the water and upwind. I am sure that smell will fade over time though. My only real complaint is the pump, it will eventually get the job done, but it will be a pretty good workout! This is a little longer and wider than my wife's paddleboard and I think it is great. The white under where you stand will be a bit more difficult to keep clean, but I really like this paddleboard. No issues with the three piece paddle. I set it to the maximum length, for reference I am 5'10" 165#. Comparing to others I have tried, having only one fin in the back and one in the middle did keep the board going in the right direction. The big stability fin helped me to remain standing longer than I am typically able to. My recommendation is to wait to install it until you're ready to get into the water as it can interfere with carrying the board. I often worry that these inflatables will not fit back into the carrying bag, but this carrying/storage bag is nicely sized and has nice zippers. Everything fit inside with ease. I would definitely recommend this setup, with a different pump.

This paddle board is an outstanding value and honestly competes far above its price point. We own quite a few boards from a mix of brands, including several higher end models, and ZLX consistently seems to deliver the best overall balance of quality, stability, features, and price of anything we have used. The extra wide design makes this board extremely stable, which is great for beginners, families, fishing, casual cruising, or anyone bringing kids or dogs along without wanting every paddle stroke to feel like a survival exercise. The deck pad is comfortable and grippy, the construction feels durable and well reinforced, and the included accessories are actually useful instead of the usual collection of barely functional freebies many inflatable boards include. Inflation is straightforward with the upgraded pump, and once inflated, the board feels rigid and confidence inspiring on the water. Tracking and stability are both surprisingly good, especially for a wider recreational SUP, and the portability advantage of inflatable boards never gets old when transporting or storing them. Overall, ZLX really seems to have figured out how to deliver premium feeling performance and build quality without the premium brand tax, making this one of the best values we have found in the inflatable paddle board market.

Took this out for a wonderful day on the lake! This isn’t our first paddle board but it might be our new favorite. The way the fins detach make it easy to pack up in a smaller backpack carry bag but once you get it set up, the whole thing is surprisingly large and sturdy! The design was beautiful and the stability bar was a nice added feature that could be fun if we take it to the beach someday in the ocean. We pumped it up the same time as our other board and did have a little bit of a struggle getting the hose hooked up at first, but we got it together. Overall, relatively easy to set up, just be prepared to use those arm muscles to really pump it up! The whole time we were out on the water we kept commenting on what a great value it was considering we spent a lovely four hours on the lake just paddling and picnicking and floating to our heart’s content. This is my lake life vibe and this paddle board is a great one if you’re in search of one! Highly recommend!

Price: $309.99 Length: 11.5 ft When I say that we had so much fun on this paddle board! Love this! We already have an inflatable paddle board so we knew whet to expect and had something to compare it to. This one did not let us down! Very realistic with the wood-grain design. The quality is fantastic! Easy to manually inflate with the pump that comes with it The board held air as expected and when filled completely, it has a very firm, solid fill to it. You'd really have to inspect to realize that its inflatable and not fiberglass. This one is a little longer than our other one, so this one is "his" and the shorter one is "hers". Also, easy to deflate and remove the fins and stabilizer. The storage bag is a great size to fit everything back in. Everything is portable and easy to take with you (like a backpack) for a day on the lake. Very stable and doesn't flip over easily. It has a very realistic look and feel. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this product. 10 out of 10 for quality, function and fun! Another perk is that it comes with a 3 year warranty. I will note that the price has gone up $40 since the same one that "I ordered less than a year ago. I have a total of 3 from this same brand. Trusted product!
