It's made well and no assembly is required other than attaching the two ends to a frame, trees of other makeshift supports. I rated this a 3 (out of 5) on sturdiness because the directions suggest that you do not expose the hammock to sun or rain when not in use. Not sure if this means that it can't stand up to the elements, but if it does, then sturdiness might be questionable.

If you’re on the fence about buying this product, just do it! I was in a car accident and have a broken leg and wanted to be able to be outside this spring. I purchased this with the hopes that it would be comfortable and sturdy when I received it. I was very happy. The color is gorgeous as well as sturdy. It’s so big that I can lay sideways in it and it’s like a recliner, the material is a little rougher than I expected but that’s probably so that it’s sturdy . Overall amazing and great price ! It was just exactly like I was looking for, I spent so much money buying so bad stuff, I bought this product, easy to install, pretty colors, good materials quality, support over 200 lbs hanging out, support heat and rain, and the product looks like brand new. I highly recommend it!

I've never had a hammock before, but I had the perfect spot in my yard with trees that were just begging for one. I chose this one based on price and reviews. It is soft and very comfortable. I am not sure it would fit two adults as advertised, but it is very long. The biggest drawback was that the ropes that it comes with are fairly useless for hanging from trees. They weren't long enough to hang it in the traditional manor shown on-line and they seemed rather flimsy. I ended up having to purchase a separate strap set with carabiners. So when I add the cost of those to the hammock it was no longer a great price. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and if you have a hammock base and don't need straps you may find this hammock to be a nice one for the price.

I was gifted a hammock a few years ago and all the cords broke when I was sitting in it the other day, so I had to replace it. Without measuring cause i'm a woman, I just ordered this one and I am obsessed. I wasn't sure if I would like it because the previous one I had was the braided cord only and this one is solid but let me tell you. It's huge and the most comfiest thing ever. Day one set it up, fit perfectly! I can sit sideways which I LOVE! Sat down, and passed out for 25 min in the sun. I love that it comes with a bag. I'm taking it camping this weekend!!
