  • Greatest little thing!
I live off grid and have 4 Goal Zero power stations of different sizes. I got this little one to sit next to my bed because it takes up a much smaller footprint than the 500x. It charges my phone, laptop, runs a reading light and runs a Vornado DC fan, which is all I ask of it. Very small and light. Charges very fast on my solar, as well as the car charger. Love it. ... show more

  • Way easy to use and functions great
It already had a charge when it came in, so just had to charge to 100%. It was easy to set everything up and the instructions are easy to follow. Have had the goal zero for a couple weeks and it charges really well. The outlets work. Now just want to invest in the solar panels and see how well those charge everything. Successful investment this far! ... show more

  • Great for portable sound for musicians
The media could not be loaded. This is a great way for musicians who want to connect a small portable sound system for their performances. It connects 4 wireless receivers and an analog mixer. This stays powered for 2 hours which is our usual length of performance. If this can power all of this equipment simultaneously, it’ll charge your phone and laptop with no issues. ... show more

  • Great little solar generator
Before getting this I had a Yeti 150 for nearly 7 years before the SLA battery gave up the ghost. Got this as an emergency replacement on a camping trip and it performs even better. My Boulder 50 panel plugged right in with no issues. Kept the fan on a propane heater running all night with juice to spare. Great for recharging phones and powering small devices ... show more

  • light weight power
This battery is awesome. It weighs virtually nothing compared to my older lead acid Goal Zero battery. I use it for running15 watt ultra violet tubes to attract night flying insects out in the field. It will run one 15 watt light for about 8 hours, which is enough during the season. Some nice features, on and off for the hdmi, ac and dc features, as well as the digital power level indicator. ... show more

  • 6 days camping
I purchased the Yeti 200x to break into solar for camping. I paired it with the Nomad 50. The Yeti was smaller and lighter than I expected. The Nomad 50 charged it well, even on cloudy days or through the tree canopy. I added a 4 pack of lights, 2 crush lights, and 2 usb flashlights. It powered and charged wonderfully. 10 of us camped for 6 days with an rc car and drone, a laptop for a couple movie nights, and a few phones and bluetooth speakers for music. The Yetti never went below 30% and the Nomad 50 made short work, 5 hours of through the tree canopy charging. It felt good to camp without the cost and waste of disposable batteries. I am going to purchase a Boulder 50 to mount at my home and use the Yetti to power my modem and my wife's work from home 2 monitor work station in case the power goes out, she can still work. It is good to think that I captured the sunlight and used it later through the flashlights. Zoal Zero knows what they are doing. ... show more

  • Dependable, small, just works.
I bring this thing with me on daytrips, camping trips, basically anywhere I know I'll be gone for most of the day or longer. I'm a professional photographer and I take frequent camping trips and shoot weddings and need batteries charged many times over a few days. This thing is an absolute unit. I can charge my DSLR batteries like a dozen times on this thing no problem. I hosted a landscape photography workshop over 4 days and it still had about 10% battery life left after my half-dozen attendees and I charged batteries and phones on it continuously. I was nothing short of impressed. It now sits on my gear shelf plugged in waiting for trips; and on trips I dont take it on, I'll leave my dslr battery charger in that to charge those up simply so I don't have to bend down to get at my outlets. It's a great product made by a seemingly great company. I'm already looking for excuses why I need a bigger one. ... show more

  • Stopped charging after less than a year
Really disappointed that my 200x stopped charging after less than a year. I tried buying a new power supply but that still didn't help. I probably used it less than one full charge to run a record player and charge phones. I even bought a 50w solar panel to go with it, which now I cant use. I own the 1000 Core with the Boulder solar panels and those have worked great for almost 2 years. ... show more
