Definitely handy to have these around the house. They're nice and solid and comfortable to hold for a shorter session. I like that both scissors are included and have a thoughtfully-designed case that keeps them together and easy to store. While the thinning shears seem plenty sharp, I feel like the regular shears could be a little sharper. Mind you, I'm not a professional, so it's quite possible that's the way they're supposed to be. This is a high quality barber scissors. It is supposed to be made of 304 stainless steel. After using it twice, our little boy is very satisfied because the old scissors would pinch the hair. These scissors are well-made and sharp. The rings for the finger are a little small. I found my finger stuck in it every so often when I tried to transition from cutting to handling motions.

I like the comb scissors not the normal flat ones. The flat ones compared to a 12 dollar pair I got on Amazon do not compare. These flat one are not great at cutting get the job done but not well. The comb ones were the reason i got this to help with my kids hair cuts. Been using then for last couple months and they do jist what I want them to do. Work well leave hair with uneven look.
