Installed in a 1979 Camaro with 3.42 gears, 454/turbo 400. Had rearend assembled at a local shop, no problems. Added fluid and 2- 4oz bottles of additive and took a drive - loud grinding/crunching noise heard (normal), went to an open parking lot and did numerous figure eights in both directions and drove it home - quiet as a mouse. I thought this was a Yukon posi. Turns out it isn't a named brand posi at all. The title for this item says "Eaton style posi". It's a knock off. I am considering returning it.
