I love these. My only problem is that they fray along the grain a bit. I think sanding may help but it hasn't been bad enough for me to get around to it.

I don't want to eat bamboo shreds and fibers even though they are said to be non-toxic. I followed the directions using salt when I first got it but after the first real use and washing and drying it right away, the board was covered with small splinters of bamboo on both sides. I tried wiping them away but they are still mostly connected. I can't use this board! It's pretty but also pretty fuzzy with bamboo strands and fibers. ... show more
