I ordered a red one. What I didn't realize that the LED part doesn't stay on (no steady on) and doesn't light up unless you throw it and once it hits the ground then it flashes for about 30 seconds. It works fine for my dog because she can apparently see it at night and then chases it once it starts bouncing/flashing. I wouldn't imagine it works well if you were really intending to use it as a football in the dark though. Also, with regard to inflation. The pump that comes with it to blow it up has to be connected to an air compressor or another pump, it's not just a standalone pump that's ready to use. Not hard to inflate once I had the right parts.

I ordered this for my son’s going to the dark party. Unfortunately, the item did not work when I got it. I’m sure the kids would’ve had a good time with her however we were not able to use it because it did not light up. The size is smaller than your standard football.

It does glow if you smack the ball hard enough, but it is a faint glow even in a black out room. The camera’s long exposure is misleading. But it’s the lowest price on the market. Not a fan of the bumps, but could be useful for water
