This is a VERY lightweight comforter. I sleep better with the weight of a comforter, my boyfriend sleeps VERY hot, this was the perfect compromise. Mina feather sheddage so far. It’s pretty flat right out of the packaging, just pop it in the dryer with some dryerballs (or a shoe) and let it fluff. No weird smell out of the box or anything like that.

This is so light, yet so warm. My other down was hard to wash in our machine, but this had no issues. The fabric is super soft and makes no crinkly sound when moving around at night. Absolutely love it! I’m glad I spent a little more. Well worth it!

Light and warm. Quality made. A duvet cover usually comes with string ties at each of the four corners. The down comforter comes with 6 loops for attachment. I sewed buttons onto the duvet that align with the non-corner loops on the comforter. This makes placement secure so sliding and bunching won’t happen.

Updated: I love the lightweight queen size comforters (see my previous review below) so much that I decided to buy a third one. Since the extra lightweight version is now available, I purchased the extra lightweight king for the warmer Summer nights. My first impression was that the fabric is not the same as the previous two I got. I posted a question for the seller, they didn’t respond. I went ahead and washed it hoping that the washing process would soften it, unfortunately, it didn’t. I am disappointed, and on the fence about returning it because it is lighter weight and works better for my husband. I am only lowering one star because the previous two are soft, quiet and exactly as described. If I am to rate this extra lightweight king, I’d give it a 3 star rating. I spent years searching for a light weight down comforter/blanket. I didn't think it would be that difficult to find one that is soft, thin, light, not overheat in room temperature between 59F to 72F, and QUIET. From high end department stores to boutique shops to e-commerce, numerous items had been purchased, tried, returned or stacked in the closet, until Globon White Goose Down Lightweight Summer comforter. We used it with a duvet in early Spring when the room was 65F or below (we like to keep our room cool at night), and now in the Summer heat without a duvet when the room is warmer. I don't claim to be an expert on down comforter selection. I just know that this one meets all my requirements, so I bought a second one for my daughter!

Perfect for summer. I love the down, gotta have it year around but those all season models can just be to hot in the summer and not warm enough in the winter. This one seems to be very well made. For the price it’s a great setup. Maybe get a thin duve cover. For not it’s just right. Last night was a bit chilly, didn’t feel it. It’s really really thin. You can hang dry it to expand when you first get it or tumble air dry it. I used the dryer. Worked great. I have lots of humidity where I am. We run the ac but this is perfect for those warm summer nights. This may not do anytbing for you come winter tho. Super soft. Cool zipper thing case came with it for storage. I like it. I could have spent more. You get what you pay for. This was a great buy.
