This tree tower is well made and very sturdy. ..comfortable plush padding in top tier. My cat is not small, and she leaps onto it multiple times a day, and it appears quite sturdy wirh little movement. It can be anchored to the wall, but I did not find that was needed. And, my cat loves this tree! It took her a few days to approach it, but she wanted to see out the window enough that she finally did! After a couple of weeks, she went into the boxed-in section, and finally investigated the lower hammock area and loves that too! Best part is the padded top perch - my cat's favorite spot to nap. ... show more

Seems to be sturdy, easy to assemble. Smaller than measurements in description by a few inches here and there but overall much smaller. Carpet is very thin, one claw stretch and it was torn......I will prob be returning this. I don't feel it was worth $80 I would NOT recomend this product.

I did look at the measurements and measured my room space before ordering, but the picture in the ad makes this look HUGE. It's not. It's the perfect size for my space. The instructions were easy to follow and all hardware was included with the allen wrench. It even has a few replacements bolts, an anchor screw and another toy ball. I'm grateful I have put a few trees together before, so it only took about 30min to build this one single handed. It does have some weight to it so my big boy (25lbs.) won't tip it over. It has a nice anchor strap if we need it later, but, oddly enough, its at the top. Not sure if I like that but I'm not using it....yet. My cat loves to sharpen his murder mittens, so, the 4 tall, sturdy scratching posts were mandatory. They are well made and should take him several months or more to destroy, hopefully. The design is nice so he can face the room or the window and it can be moved if I want to rearrange furniture or vacuum. Its extremely soft and well built, in my opinion well worth the price. At the time of this review it was $80. It took him less than 10 seconds to begin investigating and he's definitely having fun with it. His favorite spot is the hammock. I recommended it to my neighbor for her cat and after seeing mine, she immediately bought one. I'm very happy with this purchase and would buy it again. Fun for cats. ... show more

It's not quite as roomy as it is made to look in the ads, and I have two large cats (one is part Maine Coon, the other is just chubby) so size/room is important for them to be able to lay comfortably or even stand up on the levels. They can't fit entirely in the top bed unless in bread loaf position with their legs tucked under them, which was a disappointment. If you have dainty, petite cats, this should not be a problem at all, I would think. The first cat tree we were sent was (am guessing) previously used and faulty. The assembly parts were in an anonymous paper envelope, the small circular disk needed for them to access the higher levels was literally crumbling on the underside and the bolt to hold it to the connector piece was pushed clear through the compressed cork/wood and product glue was on the fabric cover where the bolt was pushing through the topside because it was clear someone tried to repair this piece due to the wood disintegrating. We sent it back for a replacement. Our second one appeared unused, the assembly parts came in a proper manufacturer plastic bag, no parts appeared compromised or "fixed" haphazardly. Everything is holding together well. We especially like how secure the hammock is with metal corners (hidden in fabric) where it connects to the tower legs so it is extra supportive for heavier cats to lay in. I will say getting the replacement and such was super easy, their customer support reaction was prompt and efficient and I really appreciate that it wasn't a hassle at all. Unfortunately I had to remove two stars for our experience with being sent a used/broken one first, and then the misleading size. ... show more

This Cat Tree Tower is perfect for my two large fur-babies! Finally I’ve found a tower that doesn’t “sway” when either of my 20+ pound boys climb it, especially when they have the zoomies! The base is positioned exactly as needed to keep it from tipping over. They both love to perch for hours while watching the birds and squirrels from the patio doors, so the “boxes” give them the perfect place to either sit or stretch out. The top perch has padded rolled edges so they can curl up and sleep comfortably in the sunlight for hours. And the height is perfect! I was lucky enough to catch this tree on sale during the Christmas holidays, so I’ll be watching for another great sale to add a second one! Highly recommend this Tree Tower to anyone who has larger cats! The overall design is perfect! The only negative I’ve found is the material used on some of the scratching posts tears very easily and you not only end up with gray fuzz everywhere, you also have to either remove/replace the material or try to patch it. They should have used rope on each post. I’ll still give it five stars though because it’s perfect for my boys! ... show more
