The boots are great and very comfortable. I ordered a standard size 8 that usually fits well (my feet are a bit smaller but wide (7 wide) because I knew I would wear socks. Overall on my feet they are a bit loose and I can pull them on/off without using the zipper. My friend tried them as her feet are a bit larger (8.5-9) than mine and they did fit her feet but won't fit her calf's.

I normally wear an 8 in boots, and I ordered a 7, and they fit perfectly, so my recommendation would be to order not just a half but one whole size down. Gold hardware looks good, and they seem comfy. Just what I was looking for. Just pay attention to the large sizing. Good luck!

These boots run big. Had I known that before purchasing 2 pair I would have gotten a smaller size.I wear a size 8 but their size 8 feels like a size 9. I ordered 2 pair during a lighting deal. I received the boots tried them on and they were too big. I tried to exchange them only to be told that there are no exchanges since I ordered the wrong size. I ordered the right size ma'am, sir. The sizes run big! The only option was to return them and reorder well ok but I would not receive the lightning deal. I think that sucks! So be careful when you purchase clothing or shoes on a lightning deal because once your package arrives and you cant wear it because the mfg size arent US standard size you will pay non lightning price for a different size if the deal if the lightning deal has expired. I hope this helps someone.

I see the quality complaints and I'm sure these arent going to hold up like the better brand boots I have, but I absolutely love these. Thet hold their shape, are a gorgeous chocolate color, and fall outfits with these are next level. I loved the brown so much I got them in black. I went with all faux leather material up the back because I saw some images with the clothe sock like pattern on the back snagging. I've had a different pair of boots with that before and the buckle always caught the fabric and snagged it. They fit true to size and I had a little room in the foot and calf area to support some fluffy socks if I want. Would recommend
